CNC drilling system V600 Drilling System
The V600 drilling system is suitable for structural steel fabricators with a limited floor space. The operator loads the drilling table with several profiles behind each other, after which the horizontal drilling unit provides one or more profiles with the programmed hole pattern. By drilling holes through both flanges/sides or by rotating a profile it is possible to drill the material on all sides. Besides drilling the machine can also carry out thread tapping. A vertical hydraulic clamp, which clamps the product to the table during drilling, is fixed at the front of the drilling cabin. For tool changing, the drilling unit is provided with an automatic tool changers. After replacing a drill the length of the new tool is automatically measured and before starting the drilling process the web and flange height will be measured automatically. Drilling center For the V603M, V613M and V630M drilling system the positioning of a profile is carried out by a machine integrated feeder rolls positioning system.
Both, the V603M as well as the V630M, are executed with one vertical and two horizontal servo-controlled drilling units. Therefore profiles can be drilled simultaneously in both flanges and in the web. With the rotating drilling unit of the V613M profiles can be drilled vertically as well as horizontally. This system can operate independently for long periods due to the automatic tool changers.
Combine with other systems
The drilling systems can be combined with a horizontal bandsawing machine, a hydraulic numbering machine and/or a beam coping system. For further automation of the pre-fabrication a Voortman shot blaster can be added to the production line. Therefore one operator can centrally control all these machines for drilling, sawing and shot blasting.
Software
Each drilling system is provided with a computer control, which can be integrated in the company’s network, so that DSTV- and DSTV+-data can be directly downloaded, from system files within the company database, to the drilling system. Also software to compose production batches will be installed. | | |

Horizontal band saw Horizontal band saw

Voortman has developed five models of band sawing machines especially for sawing structural steel. Four sawing machines are developed for mitre cutting. The fifth is designed for straight cutting of profiles. The sawing machines are equipped with a control system for the selection of the mitre angle and the automatic sawing cycle.
The band speed is frequency controlled and the feed rate is automatically controlled to suit the profile type and size.
The sawing machines can be combined with a length measuring system with stop truck. The sawing machine can also be combined with a drilling system for sawing and drilling in one continuous process.
These sawing machines are available with different cutting capacities. The VB600 for sawing max. 450 x 620 mm, the VB750 for 450 x 750 mm, the VB1050 for 500 x 1.130 mm and the VB1250 for 600 x 1 250 mm.

Punching-shearing machine The Voortman punching and shearing lines are mainly used by structural steel fabricators producing plates, fittings and angle steel parts.
The punching and shearing lines are equipped with as standard a punching unit with four punches and a flat steel shear with +/- 45º mitre cutting.
As additional extras the production line can be provided with an angle steel shear, a horizontal punching machine, a numbering unit and a drilling unit coupled with many other optional extras.
For the automatic processing of angles used in the manufacture of electrical transmission towers, diagonal trusses and connecting angle braces Voortman developed the angle line. Main Grinder. The second step in the VAN AARSEN RUBBER TECHNOLOGY process is the RTG 800 /1250 main grinder. Main Grinding is an ”ambient” mechanical process and is a grinding and not a cutting treatment. The tyre shreds are crushed between toothed rotor and stator tools. The shreds include the steel wires from the beads, which are of help during the grinding process. The toothed tools are grinding tools, hence they do not necessary need to be sharp.
In just this single step the size of the shreds is reduced from (100*150 mm) to a granulate of 0-20 mm of which already 20 % is less then 2,0 mm due to the special design of the machine which is unique in the market. Another benefit of this unique design is that over 96 % of the steel is liberated during this process.
The grinding temperature of approx. 80 degrees Celsius is maintained by adding process water in the main grinder. The water added into the man grinder evaporates during the grinding process and is cleaned in a wet-filter to remove the dust before it is released to the environment.
The ground rubber with the liberated steel wires is transported via a vibration conveyor. The steel is separated from the rubber by several magnets. The separated clean steel is led via belt conveyors to containers outside the production building. The clean steel without rubber is ready for sales.
The ground rubber and fiber mixture is pneumatically transported to the primary screening machine and separated in 3 different grades. In this example we take 0-2 mm, 2-4 mm and 4-20 mm.

Single Rotor Shredder
The first step in the VAN AARSEN RUBBER TECHNOLOGY process is the SRS 1300/1300 S shredder. Shredding is an ambient mechanical process. The whole tyres including the beads are cut into pieces with a size of approximately 100 x 150 mm. In the shredder, water is added as a lubricant as well as for cooling and dust preventive. The used water goes into a settling tank. The clarified water leaves via the overflow into the sewer. What remains is settled street-dirt (sand ,stones, glass).
After the shredder the intermediate stock could be situated. This intermediate stock enables you to keep processing when the knives of the shredder have to be replaced. The shreds are fed into the main grinder with the intake dosing hopper with rotating scraper. | | |

Cooling towers Nature´s own method
Cooling towers offer the cheapest, most efficient and most natural method for cooling water. That is because nature itself creates the cooling effect. In a cooling tower, water flows against an airflow down a liner with a large surface area. By this direct contact between water and air, a small amount of water evaporates, thereby cooling the remainder of the water circulated. The cooling water may typically be cooled below air temperature.
Lots of uses
Cooling towers may be used to great advantage in industries using cooling water e.g. in process cooling, cooling of condensers, hydraulic oil, autoclaves, evaporators, extruders, fermenters and engine testing beds.

Water mist catchers / Water separators introduced.
Our water mist catchers are manufactured from stainless steel AISI 304.
We use a fully welded constructions so that every vane is bonded to the support struts, thus making the water separator far more robust than other types where there is no welding.
We supply for both newbuildings and replacement / spares market.
Vestas can also replace water mist catchers for other specifications. We just need a drawing in order to quote.
