Electrostatic filters
Clean air is an important production factor.
Industrial production processes often lead to pollution, e.g. coolants, plasticisers, welding smoke, oil mist, or tars which pollute ambient air and easily disperse over the entire production facility. The electrostatic separator SMOG-HOG® offers the perfect solution - either as a stand-alone solution, central exhaustion, or installed in the duct of a ventilation system.
These pollutants put a strain on the health of your personnel as well as the machines and the quality of your products. In particular below diameters of 2.5 µm, the protective mechanisms of human respiratory tracts are not able to separate those particles which, if toxic, may rapidly cause chronic diseases of the respiratory path or cardiovascular system. Incidences of illness, temporary production downtimes and a lasting loss of know-how may be the consequences.

The electrostatic separator SMOG-HOG®offers significant advantages over mechanical oil mist separators, since lifetime maintenance and energy costs are considerably lower.

Developed especially for the efficient separation of emulsion aerosols with optimum cleaning effect.
Prefilter for solid particles (metal particles, shavings etc.), oil and emulsion droplets using a dense prefilter element.
The filter cartridge is made of glass fabric and provides for the main separation of fine aerosols. At the filter cartridge, the aerosols flow into the respective collecting basin and are discharged out of the filter housing unhindered.

RS60 and RS100 series
The RS60 and RS100 have been developed from the RS50 series. Our extensive experience with the smaller series has been incorporated into the design of what is currently the largest four-shaft series available from UNTHA. The RS60 and RS100 machines are also equipped with the patented UNTHA four-shaft system with perforated screen (patent number 319535). With a cutter clearance width of 1.5 m and height of 1 m, the machines in both series are capable of shredding up to 10,000 kg of material per hour with a driving force of 100 kW. S120 series
The S120 series has been developed for particularly heavy industrial use. These two-shaft shredders are also known as rotary shears and are suitable in particular for shredding metals and tires. A four-shaft shredder is often used down-stream in a second shredding process to reduce granule size even further, and particularly high through-put rates can be achieved using this combination. Even with low speeds and very high torque the machines are capable of shredding heavy gauge metals. If you need to process very bulky or awkwardly shaped metal objects, a compression feeder will help to ensure the required through-put.

TR series
The TR series has been specially developed to deal with alternative and secondary energy sources. The increased rotor diameter of 1100 mm shows that UNTHA is taking secondary-shredding to another level. The resultant increase in screen surface area facilitates high output volumes of up to 15t/h.

XR series
The XR series is currently the heaviest in our range of single-shaft shredders; the machines are available in three different sizes. This series has been specially developed for use in the waste disposal and recycling industries, and during the design process we therefore focused on achieving high through-put rates, excellent resistance to non-shreddable foreign bodies and high availability. In order to guarantee this last property, machines for use in waste processing must be able to meet exacting demands; this means that they need to be equipped with extremely efficient foreign body removal systems.

The traveling-column or 3D machine is ideal for machining of large-size parts clamped in stationary fixtures.
