Today’s export packaging and pallets must be heat treated sanitarily.
This has to occur by the guidelines of the international protection of plants meeting IPPC, and is established in the standard ISPM Nr.15. In certificated temperature treatment kilns (heat treatment kilns) the lumber is brought to a temperature of 56°C (133°F) for the duration of 30 minutes. Special temperature sensors in the core of the lumber measure the temperatures.
The number of the sensors depends on the kiln size.

Gas filter
Dry seals for compressors and turbines require clean, dry gas to maintain seal integrity and ensure longevity. Gas seal support systems as specified in API-614 require filters and sometimes water-removing coalescers to ensure gas quality to the seals.
For critical seal gas filtration, the ideal arrangement is to have “duplex” filters. In the duplex configuration, there is always one filter on-line filtering and/or “drying” the gas, even when the other filter element is being replaced.

Membrane separation system
The HILCO ceramic membrane system is an ideal way to lower your oily-water waste disposal costs. The filtration system utilizes high-velocity fluid “crossflow” across the face of the membrane. The oil-free water passes through the ceramic membrane while the oily waste is concentrated in a process reservoir. Depending on the particular waste stream disposal, volumes can be reduced as much as 20x. The system is designed to accept three different micron-rated membranes (0.2 µm, 0.01 µm, and 0.005 µm) in order to meet all specific local discharge ordinances.

Oil mist eliminator
The HILCO vent mist eliminator is the answer to economically reclaiming the oily vapor found in the air stream of vents of lubrication oil systems on large, high-speed rotating equipment. These include gas turbines, turbo compressors, reciprocating engines and gearboxes.
The vent mist eliminator improves safety by eliminating oily residue cause by setting oil mist on engine room floors, stairways, etc., keeps the environment clean and helps prevent exterior oil contamination of buildings and grounds. There are currently three versions available: Blower Assisted, Mist Eliminator with Heat Exchanger, and a Coalescer-Only model. All models have DM type coalescers and eliminate oil mist with an efficiency of 99.97% removal of all airborne contaminant regardless of particle size.
Our vent mist eliminator collects, coalesces and filters the mist, significantly reducing visible oil plume. The captured oil is returned to the sump or crankcase, quickly and efficiently for reuse. Operation
By operating the foot-pedal, the work-piece is clamped. At the rear of the machine the length stops are determined and set. The operator then starts the motor and draws the unit horizon-tally along the guides, producing the keyway slot. When the unit reaches the pre-set length, it is returned to the central position. The motor is switched off and the work-pieces released.

Fine Grinder / Pulverizers
Neue Herbold ZM series pulverizers are designed for the pulverizing of mid-hard, brittle to high impact plastics that require the final material to be in powder form. Typical applications are PE, PVC, PC and other various types of plastics. The required pulverizer input material must be in a granulate form with a maximum size of 6-8 mm (1/4-5/16 in.).
Design
The ZM series pulverizer (pulveriser) is a extremely high out put unit can be supplied with automatic temperature control. The material to be pulverized is vibro feeder fed into fixed and high speed rotating pulverizer (pulveriser) discs. In conjunction with a integrated inner disc that material is centrifically forced through the pulverizer (pulveriser) discs to the outer chamber for discharge with a down stream material transport system. Neue Herbold ZM series pulverizers (pulverisers) operate without a screening machine. The specific final powder size is dependent on the teeth configuration and the adjustable gap between the pulverizer (pulveriser) discs. In the event that the application requires a maximum particle size, a screening machine can be easily integrated into the system.

Design
Neue Herbold GS series guillotines rigid all welded construction. The guillotine knife is mounted in a double sided channel and operates with two oversized hydraulic cylinders which meet the horizontal stator bar. The stator bar is fully adjustable to insure a precise and exact cut of the baled material. The cutting pressure of the guillotine knife can be adjusted to further insure a clean material cut. The material bale length cut can be controlled through a optional hydraulically operated gate.

Design
Neue Herbold HM series hammer mills are designed and equipped highly wear resistant cutting instruments (hammers and hammer bars). The bearings of the rotor shaft are mounted within solid steel housings (not castings) which offer more reliable service and eliminate any chance for the housings to crack or break under heavy shock loads. As opposed to flanged mounted bearings, outboard mounting prevents dust/fines from fouling the bearing nor grease from contaminating the granulate. Outboard mounting provides for a quieter and cooler. The totally welded housing can also be equipped with replaceable wear plates when operating with high impact or abrasive material.

Our fine grinders model SMF and our disc pulverizers model PU have been designed for the pulverization of plastic granules, regrind, soft and semi-rigid materials. The final particle size to be obtained ranges between 0-1000 microns and 0-200 microns, depending on the type and configuration of the machines.
Our focus and special knowledge centers on the pulverization of soft and rigid PVC, of PE for coating, rotomolding and the textile industry, of cellulose and the production of metal powders, e.g. calcium.
The fine grinders model SMF are preferably used for soft, fibrous, thin-walled and/or elastic materials, e.g. PE drilling and milling shavings or cellulose sheets.

HERMA 311 – semi-automatic labelling machine for two-sided labelling
If you have a requirement to label both sides of a product cost effectively, but with a high degree of accuracy, and in relatively small batches, then you will be pleased to know that it’s now possible - with this semi-automatic machine from HERMA. The product is simply placed in a jig and then pushed manually between two labellers. The big advantage is that at the moment at which the label is applied, the product is accurately held in position. The result is that both labels are very accurately placed on to the product. When the jig is returned to its home position the product is automatically released from the jig. The range of shapes that the system can handle is endless and ranges from flat objects such as cartons to more complicated oval bottles. Because of the machine’s great flexibility down-time is kept to an absolute minimum even during a product change-over. Hesse-CN-Lacquers
are often described as NC- or nitro lacquers. The standard name is "CN", which is derived from cellulose nitrate.
The drying is quick and happens in a mere physical way, that means, by evaporation of the solvents. (Mechanically resistant films are produced, which are still reversible soluble in solvents).
In the complete woodworking industry, CN-lacquers have a wide field of application, not only due to their excellent price-performance ratio, but also their easy processing is convincing. They excel by very good film gripping, elegant touch and pleasant appearance, and the character of the wood is still effective.
The repairing of a CN-surface is ensured by their resolubility.
For normal use, Hesse-CN-lacquers are almost universally applicable in the field of furniture and interior fittings.
For wood, having a high content of ingredients, an isolation with PUR-lacquers is recommended before treatment with Hesse-CN-lacquers.
Our product range contains:
Hesse-CN-Base coats are directly applied onto the wooden workpiece. A good wetting of the pores as well as - after drying - good sandability and filling power, are the most important Hesse-characteristics. Features like drying, elasticity or smell can be adjusted differently.
Hesse-CN-Hardlacquers are top coats, which - applied on dried and sanded CN-Base coats - result in a smooth and resistant surface. Hardlacquers are available in different glosses. After leaving the application line, modern CN-Hardlacquers with short drying times can be directly further treated.
Hesse-CN-Multicoat lacquers combine the characteristics of base coats and top coats. So, the complete application is made with the same material. The easy processing results in short set-up times and a good stockkeeping.
Hesse-CN-Ethanol-Multicoat lacquer: The Hesse-CN-Ethanol-Multicoat lacquer is brand-new in this field. This CN-lacquer is of noticably low odour and applicable by spraying and curtain coating. It produces a robust lacquer film, which is even resistant against plasticizers. This lacquer is part of a technically developed air-cleaning procedure by a biological filter system. The complete system is patented and therefore protected for us.

Hesse-Hydro-lacquers are environment-consciously formulated materials. They are water-dilutable formulations, which build up waterproof lacquer films after drying. Here, very fine dispersed and lightfast synthetic resins are concerned, like e.g. polyacrylates or polyurethanes in water.
The film building happens after evaporation of the water by melting of the dispersion particles. After drying Hydro-lacquers are no longer water-soluble.
Unlike conventional nitrocellulose lacquers, Hydro-lacquers contain only about 1/10 of the usual solvent amounts. For this reason, if solvent emissions are concerned, besides the UV-curing lacquers they are the ecologically most compatible surface materials.

Hesse-Hydro-Base coats for roller coating: Especially for the application lines in the industrial coating of flat pieces (e.g. doors) special Hydro-Base coats for roller coating are available. Due to their isolating characteristics, they increase the filling of the complete coating and lead to a better egalizing for a following staining.
Hesse-Hydro-Multicoat lacquers: Hydro-Multicoat lacquers are used as base and top coat. They are noted for a special environmental compatibility and low odour. Besides the universal lacquers, which are applicable on almost all European kinds of wood, special formulations are available, by which the character of the wood is maintained, as well as specific surface features are produced.
Hesse-Hydro-Colour systems: In the coloured field of application Hydro-colour systems are applicable, too. Here, it's ideal to use the mixing lacquer system, which is available in the same shades as the CN- and PUR systems. From the range of some base colours, (almost) all colour tones can be mixed. It is possible to apply the coatings on MDF as well as on veneered wood. For wood species with a high content of wood ingredients (e.g. pine, ash) special isolation primers are available, by which even these surfaces will result in a high quality. For increasing the use value - as well known in the field of CN- and PUR-systems - these colour lacquers can be finished with clear multicoat lacquers.
Hesse-Hydro-Dipping lacquers: Especially the application by dipping with Hydro-Multicoat lacquers offers a material-saving, ecologically and economically interesting possibility for the rack furniture industry. By optimizing the dripping procedure, special lacquers can produce well-looking surfaces. Additionally they are noted for a low roughening of the wood. Also the wickerwork industry can use well-tried products, by which the use value and the appearance of the baskets can be upvalued considerably.
Hesse-Hydro-Adhesion primer, Hesse-Hydro-Roller coating base, Hesse-Hydro-Printing paint: Especially for the hardboard industry a complete system was developed, which contains of adhesion primer, roller coating base and printing paint. With this system the most various patterns can be produced. The products have an excellent filling power and light fastness and in addition they are very reasonable. The final finish can be made with UV-lacquers for roller coating.
Hesse-Hydro-Strip lacquer: Applicable for protection of sensitive furniture surfaces as well as for the equipment of spray booths and other surfaces to be protected. Easily removable.

Hesse-Hydro-UV-Lacquers
Hesse Hydro UV lacquers are environmental consciously formulated materials. As water-dilutable formulations, the organic solvents have been reduced to the minimum. Here, the so-called dispersions are concerned, which are synthetic resins finely dispersed in water.
The film building process is a combination of physical drying and chemical hardening by UV-light. In the first phase the film building is made after evaporation of the contained water by melting of the dispersion particles. The second phase is a chemical cross-linking: by means of photo-initiators and exposure to UV-rays of a certain wave length, the lacquer film results in a high-quality surface.
This combination combines the advantages of Hesse Hydro lacquers and Hesse UV lacquers: high quality of the lacquer surfaces and lowest VOC emission.

Hesse-Hydro-UV-Base coats are highly filling priming systems, having a good levelling and sandability. They are noted for their low odour and environmental compatibility.
Hesse-Hydro-UV-Multicoat lacquers are lacquer systems, which can be used as base- and top coat. They are noted for their low odour and environmental compatibility. Besides the universal lacquer formulations, special adjustments regarding application method and field of use are available, too.
Hesse-Hydro-UV-Top coats are top coat systems, applicable on Hydro-UV-Base coats after sanding. They have a good levelling and high surface smoothness. They are noted for their low odour and environmental compatibility. | | |

Hesse-PUR-Lacquers
Hesse-PUR-Lacquers can be roughly distinguished as acrylic formulations and alkyd-combinations.
Due to their quick drying and good light-fastness, acrylic systems are preferred for open-pore wood coatings.
On the other hand, alkyd-formulations are better applicable for closed-pore and high-gloss coatings. Of course, our PUR-range also contains formulas, which are resistant to metallic rings, lightfast and hardly combustible. Hesse-PUR-Lacquers are reaction lacquers and consist of two components. The lacquer and the corresponding hardener.
Hesse-PUR-Lacquers are used for hard-wearing surfaces in the sectors of kitchen and bathrooms, as well as for parquet or office furniture. Depending on their formulation, Hesse-PUR-Lacquers fulfill the demands regarding chemical resistance, hygrostability, steam resistance, abrasion- and scratch resistance, as well as hard inflammability.

Hesse-PUR-Base coats are specially designed systems, covering a wide field of application in the world of wood coating.
Special PUR-Base coats are highly insensitive to wood ingredients. No matter, if resins of conifers or pore contents of exotics like rose wood, teak or Mansonia are concerned.
Hesse-PUR-Top coats protect your wooden surfaces. The hardened film is resistant against day-to-day strain like coffee, cleaning agents, spirits or similar substances. Hesse-PUR-Lacquers will also pass special tests of the kitchen furniture industry or the Möbelfaktatests including cold-check and climate tests brilliantly. But Hesse-PUR-Top coats do not only take care of the protection of the surface: They also underline the natural beauty of the particular wood.
Hesse-PUR-Multicoat lacquers can be applied on a remarkable field of use. By combination of appropriate binding agents, for every field of application a specific lacquer can be adjusted. By new developments, Hesse-technicians have also fulfilled wishes of industrial production: fast hardening on the one hand and long pot-life on the other hand. Furthermore, systems with best light-fastness have been developed.
Hesse-PUR-Colour systems: Depending on the demand, with Hesse-PUR-systems, the pigmented wood- and furniture coating can be made open- or closed-pore, mat or high-gloss. If a covering filler is used as base coat or suitable multicoat lacquers are applied two or three times, you will decide by yourself. In any case, a hard-wearing surface will be produced.

When they started to design the new hoist after 50 years of experience in the production of electric chain hoists the aims of our designers were:

- This was achieved by the use of a fan cooled motor with cooling ribs in the typical LIFTKET shape. The intelligent design of the special safety clutch-brake systems prevents the heat generated by the brake or clutch from influencing the lifting motor
Extremely maintenance free design with easy access to all wearing parts and changeability without need of special tools to grant safe working even in areas of our world where specialists are not available.
- This was achieved by following the module concept. Motor, sealed and oil filled gearbox and brake are changeable and ready for operation without an d adjustment. Only the clutch would have to be adjusted

Wire rope winches
Due to the chain drive system the lifting speed of chain hoists is limited. To lift loads up to 80 metres on high speeds (40 m/ min) a special range of wire rope winches with a maximum capacity of 200 kg was developed. They have been specially created for two groups of customers.
Firstly there is a big variety of special accessories for the building industry which makes the winch suitable to be used with all standard steel tube scaffolds. For this special purpose, single phase units are usually used at building sites.
Secondly three phase winches for industrial use are available to be mounted at girders, jibs or ceiling constructions. All our winches are equipped with 24 volts control, electric limits for the highest lifting position and emergency stop.
All lifting devices suitable for single phase voltage have to be supplied by min 2,5 sqmm cables. Especially at building sites the cables should be connected directly to a distribution point and be as short as possible.

Counterbores
The easy handling of our adjustment systems is the basis for savings in the area of tool presetting as well as for achieving tight tolerances.
In the diameter range from 6 to 34 mm different adjustment systems such as tapered screw adjustment and radial adjustment guarantee high certainty in process in mass production. At the same time it gives you a good portion of flexibility when producing only small lot sizes.
These adjustment systems can also be used for cartridges according to ISO-measurements. Thus an interlocking connection between cartridge and tool holder is always guaranteed
