When stationary becomes mobility.
Stationary processing plants are increasingly being replaced by mobile machines. In order to ensure the customary quality for concrete or asphalt grading Kleemann has developed special secondary crusher units which work, electrically interlocked, together with other machines such as primary crushers and screens.
Secondary impact crushers and gyratory crushers are used which, depending on the process requirements, are operated with or without fitted screens.
Depending on the application, MOBICONE and MOBIFOX secondary crushers can be used as secondary or tertiary crushers. Even complicated processing sequences can be solved nowadays with several machines connected in series

Stationary processing plant - disused landfill site recycling
Available landfill site space is becoming increasingly scarce as new licenses for operating land fill sites are only issued by the responsible approving authorities on a very restrictive basis for environmental protection reasons. This forces many owner/operators to remove the materials still contained in already deposited wastes and then reuse or recycle them. In this way new landfill sites are created.
Processing of these disused landfill materials, most of which only contain low mineral fractions and can therefore be very cohesive, requires a high level of technical expertise in the selection of the individual process components.
Kleemann has been successfully working in this field for many years and has already realised a large number of turnkey plants, which work with very efficiently, tailored to the owner/operator's individual requirements.

KOCH blister packaging line KBS-PL
The Koch blister packaging line KBS-PL is the high capacity blister line for high quantities of equal or similar products.
The blister film is guided through the forming station. The film with the finished blisters is cut after forming in longitudinal and transversal direction. The finished blisters are inserted into the pallets by grippers or suckers.
On the inserting section the products are loaded manually or automatically into the blisters. Then the cover card is fed by the integrated card loader. Afterwards the cover film is sealed onto the blister in the sealing station.

KOCH Carton formers
The KOCH carton formers are employed for production of a huge number of varying boxes by application of a stamped carton blank made of solid fibre board or corrugated cardboard. The carton blank is picked out of a magazine by vacuum suckers. Afterwards the carton blank is placed into guide rails. Horizontal, oblique or pallet magazines are available depending on demand. Individual tracks or dots of hot glue are applied on the glued joints during feed via forming tool.
After reaching the stopper the carton blank is pressed through the forming tool by a forming tappet, moulded in and glued together. The finished boxes are transported out of the machine via outfeed conveyor belt rising laterally or frontally out of the machine. The glue tracks are controlled via machine control. The adjustments for different formats can be entered directly on the user interface. Furthermore it is possible to employ crimp tools to form the carton blanks without using hot glue.
Advantages of this machine technology
Different sizes and performance ranges allow the optimal selection of a carton former depending on particular demand.
Change of forming tools is not required, because the tools are equipped with adjustable spindles. Only the forming tappet must be changed.

KOCH Group packer SP
The KOCH group packer SP was developed to process carton sleeves (type series Fefco 020..) The sleeves are supplied via horizontal magazine and given directly to the sequential control by the carton picking device
The products are taken over customized, placed and pre-arranged in groups. The products are pushed in laterally, optionally on the left or right side. Suitable inserting aids ensure a safe and product-friendly inserting of products.
The carton can be closed both with hot glue or with adhesive tape. The finished cartons leave the group packer via outfeed conveyor belt.

With the AAIRMAXX technique it is possible to separate coarse and finer fractions of solid and liquid materials from the air.
Low power consumption:
Due to the wide open structure, the backpressure of the filter unit is very low. The resulting decrease in neccesary fan power means savings in operating costs.
Furthermore, the high cleaning efficiency of the tubular electrofilter technique also allows the back flow of the clean air in the working place. The building temperature regulation costs are this way reduced!
Minor need of maintenance - automatic filter cleaning system:
The filter unit is wide-bodied and has no moving parts. This makes it easy to remove the dust from the collecting walls and thus to maintain the unit. At the same time, the filter procedure includes more than one tested filter cleaning methods: dust and smoke depositions can be removed, if desired, by means of vibrations or by an integrated hot water pressure washing unit.
The filter units are completely made of normal or stainless steel - it is not necessary to regularly change the different components and the filter maintenance costs are thus reduced compared to other filtering separators.

Efficient, low-cost treatment of washing water from cooler cleaning with PROWADEST® evaporator technology!
Economy and ecology in harmony: This is no contradiction for Behr Industry, part of the Behr Corporate Group. It is a daily challenge. Environmental protection is not only solidly established in the Behr corporate philosophy, it is also firmly anchored in an environmental management system and internationally certified. A good example is the PROWADEST® evaporator system put into operation at the service location Schwäbisch Hall. The used washing water from the cooler cleaning operation is treated and the purified water (distillate) is returned to the production cycle.
Behr Industry is part of the Behr Group with an annual turnover of exceeding 3 thousand million EUR and over 16,000 employees. Behr Industry has for decades been Europe’s market leader in the cooling of rail vehicles driven by diesel or electric drives. Cooling systems for large-scale engines, special vehicles, buses, construction machinery and aircraft are also produced. All customer systems are overhauled and repaired at the service location in Schwäbisch Hall: The systems are dismantled and cleaned with the high-pressure cleaning equipment. Specific cleaning of individual components is done in an ultrasonic bath. Then defective coolers, engines, regulators and other parts can be inspected and repaired. Successful testing on the test bench is followed by assembly, painting and application of preservative agents. This complete overhaul service means customers get back cooling aggregates within a very short time that are as good as new and once again meet specifications 100%.
The previous method was to treat all washing water from parts and cooler washing in a conventional, physiochemical water treatment plant. The residues from the chamber filter press were disposed of and the treated water was discharged into sewage. In view of highly stringent sewage discharge legislation (heavy metals, COD, etc.) for public sewers and the considerable costs involved, a decision was made to realize a clean, low-cost and resource-friendly solution in cooperation with KMU Umweltschutz GmbH. A decisive factor in our decision was KMU’s capacity as a system supplier to provide all of the process technology, including the necessary laboratory work, construction and runup of the system and a “turnkey” process guarantee – all under a single roof.
The core of the treatment system is a PROWADEST® evaporator for low-cost wastewater treatment. The conditions for the new investment – compliance with specified sewage discharge levels and reutilization of the distillate for cooler cleaning – were met in full.

The KONTRA storage automation system takes
over the handling and transport to the storage area
and to the downstream processing and production
lines.
The basic carriage is used for the transport to and
from the production lines.
The store shuttle carriage (dog system) will be used for the stack transport within the storage fields.
Driven chain conveyors and a centre roller rail are integrated into the basic carriage upon request.
This enables a direct stack transfer and delivery. Thus several loading and unloading positions may be approached without the need for additional adapter fields.
The stacks are stored on a simple steel construction or reinforced concrete slabs.
Stack packing units will be used with low stack height out of the stacking system.
This system can pack 2-3 small stacks to one big stack to increase the storage capacity.

Wear rings have the task to guide precisely the piston rod of a hydraulic-cylinder and to absorb the existing lateral forces. There must be no metallic contact between the sliding parts, i.e. with the counter surface.
Krütex 102 is distinguished for careful characteristics of the gliding surface and high absorption ability for defilement particles. The laminate material consists of cotton woven fabric, impregnated with phenolic-resin according to DIN 7735 - Hgw 2086.
Our manufacturing process envolves the complete line, starting with phenolic-resign plus woven fabric, resulting in finished wear-rings, bushes or bearings, with excellent tolerances. This procedure includes prepreg-fabrication, tube-production on modern winding machines and the use of CNC revolving automatons, each step accompanied by careful quality control. For this reason, we are able to react fast and flexible to special requests of our clients with respect to dimensions. | | |

Pipelines
Thinking in process chains is key to success
Efficient interaction of all technological manufacturing flows ensures that 2- and 3-dimensionally pipes are made to high quality standards
We employ sophisticated bending, finishing, measuring and monitoring equipment and are able to meet highest requirements to availability, flexibility, economic efficiency and schedule effectiveness.
Elbows for large and heavy piping
We produce elbows in gererally accepted design for large and heavy pipes with diameters from 38 mm to 114.3 mm and wall thicknesses from 4 mm to 20 mm, at bending angles up to 90° and mean bending radii of 2.5x OD.
Machine-controlled pipe end forming
We provide pipe end forming as machine-controlled cold forming that conforms to highest utilisation and quality requirements. Preassembled cutting ring union, flared fittings with 37.5°, WALFORMplus and VOSSSQR are realised to max. outer diameters of 42 mm.
Materials for all applications
We boast experience in processing of a large variety of standard materials – from structural steels via high-alloy stainless steels to soft aluminium and copper.
Process-safe design of production flows
We employ 3D measuring equipment. The measured data of a sample pipe are fed to a CNC-controlled bending machine. „FAI reports“ are only issued after the bent pipes pass the comparison with the sample pipe. Our sample archive is the basis for process-safe production.

Pressure fittings
More than 1.600 different pressure fittings from our overall catalogue can be delivered at short notice, also in several step sizes.
Bases for our broad assortment are connection types to international standards; in the pressure range between ND 04 and ND 76. Also higher stresses can be coped with by in-house developed ultra-high pressure fittings from ND?16 to ND 51 and up to 450 bars. All ultra-high pressure inserts are fully pulse-tested to DIN EN ISO 6803. Different connection sizes and connection types can be optionally combined with different hose inserts .
From very small lot to mass production
It goes without saying that also special sizes are provided. Special angle positions up to 180° or multi-bent fittings are manufactured to customer requests within short times. Everything is possible -- from very small lot to mass production.
Our high flexibility is achieved through a large variety of fitting production facilities. We are manufacturing pressure fittings in soldered, welded, solid one-piece or ZAKO designs. For ZAKO models, i.e. surface-coated products, we ensure very short delivery schedules also for special drop lengths for 4SH, R13 and R15 hoses.

Suction and low-pressure fittings
High flexibility from design to production
We are offering our customers an extensive range of suction and low-pressure fittings. Standard fittings can be delivered ex warehouse in straight, 45° and 90° designs; but the Dietzel modular system also permits production of deviating angle positions, special drop lengths and step sizes.
Intelligent solutions for safety and economic efficiency
Several hose fastening elements ensure process-safe inserts. Press ferrules should be preferably used for known and recurring hose lengths. Hose clamps are a suitable alternative for installation corrections during erection.
Our suction and low-pressure fittings can be connected, e.g., in SAE, DKO and DIN flanges or via an adjustable gear pump connection with bolt pitch circle (35, 40, 55 mm) developed by our engineers.
We prefer O-ring-sealing variants that provide higher sealing safety. In addition, a newly designed hose insert enhances tear-out and sealing safety as was impressively proven in respective tests.
Short manufacturing times also for special fittings
Our high local content allows for customer-specific solutions, i.e. also integration of off-standard suction and low-pressure fittings as special fittings.

Suction hose 17G
A new super flexible suction hose “17G” was developed by us. Best laying compatibility, even in difficult installation situations, is reached by a up to 56% smaller bending radius in comparison to the already very flexible “Xanten suction hose”, depending on the nominal diameter.
Because of a special material selection and some modifications in the
construction, the new suction hose has a very high flexibility.
The hydraulic is still very important at the mobile machines. It has a
clear advantage with its high capability. Due to the advancement, it is
possible to control and adjust very precisely. So it is not surprising that
the number of hydraulic systems in machines grows continuously.
Thus there are higher requirements to the construction. Enlarging fluid volumes has to be moved in less time. Due to the laws of streaming, here are bigger line
systems needed, to eliminate the danger of cavitation.
But the customer asks for more compact systems. That means that the available space cannot grow with the enlargement of the piping systems. To deal with this problem a piping could optimise the constructed space, but it is complex in assembling, thus expensive, and cannot handle well with production tolerances.
Hose lines are the ideal solution to solve this problem - they are assembled fast
and balance little deviations really easily. They also can reduce vibrations
along the line.
Unhappily the minimum bending radius is so big (of the suction
hoses, which are on the market, especially the bigger nominal sizes), that
their application is often not possible due to the little space.
We have developed a new suction hose, which is produced according to the standard SAE 100-R4. By a special material selection and some little modifications in the construction, an exceeding
flexibility could be reached. So never reached minimum bending radii
are possible.

Thermostatic Bimetal
Bimetal consists of two or more metallic strips with different thermal expansion bonded together. When heated up it bends in a pre-determined manner and can be used to monitor, measure or regulate heat.
Its main applications are in thermostats for room heaters or water mixing but they are also used in control devices for instance in automobiles.
Kanthal offers a wide range of some 30 standard types of thermostatic bimetal with different specific deflection, manufactured in widths ranging between 1.0–170 mm (0.039–6.63 in) and in thickness between 0.10–2.5 mm (0.0039–0.097 in).
Bimetal is also manufactured as disc material to very close tolerances which give a snap action at a given temperature.
