	Milling / drilling Manufacturing technologies: Milling and drilling In order to be able to manufacture complex workpieces in a machine system, drilling and milling operations have to be possible. For this purpose WEISSER integrates solid milling spindles with a HSK mount or drilling spindles up to a multiple spindle drilling head. Both techniques allow for a combination of dry turning and drilling respectively milling with a minimum quantity lubrication. The working area of a WEISSER turning machine is laid out for dry machining! The magnetic spindle technique developed by WEISSER is applied if, for a drilling operation, not only a diameter modification depending on the drilling depth should be reached but for example also the modification of the circle form to an oval shape.
