Merger of SMS Meer and SMS Eumuco
The machine building activities of SMS Meer and SMS Eumuco have been reorganized within the SMS group. Starting from January 1, 2007 the Product Divisions of both companies have been grouped into one corporate unit.
The Closed-Die Forging and Extrusion Divisions, formerly based in Leverkusen, will be relocated to M�nchengladbach at the end of 2007. The Wagner Banning Ring Rolling Division will remain in Witten.
The product range of SMS Eumuco includes machines and plants for every aspect of the closed-die forging, extrusion and ring rolling technology for the forming and finishing of steel and NF metals. In future, the complete product range of the company with its brands Eumuco, Hasenclever, Schloemann and Wagner Banning will be carried under the roof of SMS Meer.
With this step, SMS Meer becomes your competent partner not only for Tube Plants, Hydraulic Presses, Copper and Aluminium Plants, Section Rolling Mills but also for the whole spectrum of Closed-Die Forging and Ring Rolling Plants.
