Desktop or inline printers, flat head or near edge head - our program of Thermal Transfer Ribbons covers the suitable quality for every type of printer and almost every substrate. The formulas are free of heavy metals in accordance with the European standard EN 71 part 3, and based on a large choice of colors open up almost unlimited creative possibilities. Easy to dispose The polyester carrier along with its coatings means that KURZ Thermal Transfer Ribbons are easy and safe to dispose of. They are not subject to ordinances governing hazardous materials and may be disposed of in the same manner as regular household waste according to DIN 38414/S4.

TOUCHWOOD®

TOUCHWOOD® is a dry transfer finish with thin layers of protective top lacquer, decorative and adhesion coats all super-imposed onto a polyester carrier. During the application process, the combination of heat and pressure causes the lacquer package to separate from the carrier film, the heat-activated adhesive allows the whole package to adhere perfectly to the substrate to form a permanent bond. Unlike other decorating techniques, TOUCHWOOD® transfers the lacquer layers only and not the carrier film which is rewound and subsequently disposed off.
