4 kW CO2 Laser Oscillator C4000i-MODEL A

The 4 kW CO2 Laser Oscillator C4000i-MODEL A is a high performance laser to cut a wide-ranging thick-to-thin sheet metal. Featuring the smallest size and the lightest weight in its class, the laser can cut up to 25 mm thick mild steel at superb running costs. In recent years, there is an increasing demand for higher speed laser cutting to enhance productivity. There is also an increased request to use laser for a wide-ranging cutting applications by improving the quality of the cut surface. FANUC developed the C4000i-MODEL B to respond to these requirements. The C4000i-MODEL B enables higher-speed and higher- precision cutting through its better laser beam mode and its high-speed control capabilities. FEATURES: Cuts 6mm thick mild steel at 10% or more faster, with improvements in the beam focusing performance. Increases stability of the laser beam mode, which determines the cut surface quality, and brings about substantial improvements in cut surface quality over the existing laser oscillators, as shown in the pictures on the right. The laser's high speed I/O unit for FSSB eliminates time lag between laser output command and actual laser output by synchronizing laser control with servo motor control in high speed. This improves beam position precision and enables the laser to cut at the maximum feed speed, while switching beam on/off, to realize high precision cutting with minimum deceleration and maximum productivity.
