The special purpose machines for machining camshafts, giant crankshafts, turbine shafts and automotive crankshafts are based on the concept of the NILES- SIMMONS slant bed turning machines.

The vertical milling centers, developed and manufactured in Chemnitz, have been specifically designed for the tool and die industry. The cross bed conception in connection with efficient, water-cooled motor spindles and a five-axes-control are conditions for a machine concept with high dynamics and highest accuracy.
