Available in two grinding length capacities of 650 and 1000mm it has been specifically designed to offer unrivalled ease-of-use coupled to the highest levels of productivity.
Incorporating a GE-Fanuc® ‘Touchscreen’, used to access our own simple and fast-to-set 'Easy' software, coupled with membrane-type touch keys and electronic handwheels, either of these ‘Self Teach’ grinders will enable inexperienced and experienced operators alike to be immediately more productive.

The absence of a reciprocating table and wheelhead column gives major benefits with respect to structural rigidity and machine dynamics.
Designed with the production environment in mind, Dominator has totally enclosed guarding and occupies a small footprint.
The Dominator is available in either 3, 4, 5 or 6 axis formats, controlled via a GE-Fanuc® Intelligent Terminal supporting a Jones & Shipman developed Windows® based software package.
Equally at home when Reciprocating or Creepfeed grinding, the Dominator will fulfil all your Batch or Production grinding needs. |  | Computer numerical controls (CNC) for machine tool Using a combination of graphics and text the operator is taken through set up routines, grinding cycles and wheel form and dress procedures assisted by prompts at each stage. Also included are optimum suggested default values for certain parameters, that the operator can either leave or change as he pleases.
Data input facilities are provided for creating more intricate wheelform and workpiece surface generation programs using standard ISO codes and the 524/624 CNC's advanced programming language. On the 524/624 CNC dressing and forming of the wheel is accomplished simply, from a pop up diamond device mounted on the machine table. This is automatically raised at the appropriate programmed point in the cycle, presenting the diamonds at the correct angle to the wheel. Cross traverse and wheelhead movements are then co-ordinated to produce the required dressing path. Special templates or external devices are not required. As with our 524/624 Easy models the facility to rapidly dress out a standard wheelform from a new wheel is included as standard. |  | Gear grinding machine Sophisticated yet simple to operate, this robust, small footprint, machine is already setting the benchmark in its market.

Fast set-ups optimise productivity, whilst the advanced and highly integrated user interface enables an operator to easily produce a finished component from a design drawing.
Such performance is ideal for producing all types of spur, helical and worms gears, and the machine is configurable for grinding ball screws, small compressor rotors, internal gears and threads.

The 524 having a 500 x 200mm (20" x 8") table capacity and the 624 a 600 x 200mm (24" x 8") table capacity. Both models have been specifically designed to offer unrivalled ease-of-use coupled to the highest levels of productivity and accuracy.

An additional bonus comes from the machines automatic dressing and grinding cycles which means Both models can be quickly set, then left in unmanned operation. |  | Thread grinding machine Our machines achieve the highest standards of accuracy, rotors can be milled to a roughed or semi-finished state, then finish ground on our Helical Grinders. These use on-machine probing to provide closed-loop feedback of corrections to the wheel dresser. This process is automated and does not require a high level of operator skill. The result is extremely accurate profiles.
Our machines are equipped with chucking and workholding options that complement quick change tooling for accelerated set-up. A special 3D measurement and correction probe optimises production efficiency by maximising accuracy and improving production rates, removing the need for off-machine inspection. As a result, parts can be placed in the machine, accurately ground and then measured, and any deviations automatically corrected before completion of the cycle. | |
