TIGER Drylac� Powder Coatings
... are solvent-free and comprise of various synthetic-resins, pigments and special additives for a high quality surface finish. Since the early 1960`s industrial powder coating technology has developed into a viable alternative to liquid coatings. Combining economic and ecological advantages powder coatings represent the future of paint technology. Powder Coatings are manufactured in three steps, pre-mixing of raw materials, extrusion and micronising, resulting in a fine powder. Depending on the specific application, the powder particles are then processed into a certain size distribution.

The TIGER concept is based around the development of the new TIGER Drylac® Wood powder coating system. This new concept combined with the knowledge gained in the fields of powder application, curing techniques, oven design, MDF quality requirements, text equipment and quality assurance has provided a process environment essential to industrial production.
After considering all these parameters the technology of powder coating MDF has become a technically and economically attractive alternative to wet lacquering and PVC foil lamination. It shows enormous potential with regard to economic efficiency, surface toughness plus the availability of a wide spectrum of color designs and effects, while being environmentally friendly with zero emissions.
