Specialized in the manufacture of wood-working machinery since 1981, Greda is a flexible and efficient company that operates in the sector with a customized approach in order to satisfy customers� requests. Their wide range of machineries includes traditional machines (s.a round-end tenoners, mortisers, double-sided shapers, end-cutting boring shaping and dowel/glue inserting machines) and high-technology CNC-machining centres for the processing of chairs components, tables, windows, doors, furniture and beams.
 | Argo Gantry is a 5-axes machining centre Argo Gantry is a 5-axes machining centre engineered to process elements made out of solid wood, plywood, laminate wood.
The large section working area allows to execute different working operations (through holes, carving, milling, cutting, shaping, holes for doors and windows etc) on 5 sides of pieces of any shape and size thus avoiding any handlings from the operator.
The head features two rotating axes (A and C axis) controlled by NC, which allow the unit to reach all the possible inclinations in the area. The two rotating movements of the head are interpolated and driven by two precision reducers.
The electro-spindle has a power of 16 HP and a maximum speed rotation of 24.000 rpm with liquid cooling system. The tool-magazine is a rotating plate with 12 stations placed at side of the operating head.
The table is divided into working areas in order to enable the operator to load and unload pieces with a no-stop cycle.
On request, the pieces can be fixed through a vacuum system, blower pumps and/or special customized clamps.

|  | SPIRIT is the last patented innovation of Greda. The machine has been engineered to perform working operations on mitered doors, frames and cabinet doors.
SPIRIT is equipped with two independent units: one for cutting, boring and mortising, and the second one for tenoning.
The machine is divided into two working areas that allow to work no-stop with safe and simple loading/unloading handlings.
Each area is equipped with a working table, a 45° fence complete with a digital read-out (visualisation in mm and inches) and clamp.
Moreover, the standard equipment of the machine includes mechanical read-outs for table adjustment, saw-blade for end-cutting and tenoning head.
On request, the machine can also be equipped with special multi-spindle drilling heads.

|  | Tenoning Machine Tsda The automatic double end-tenoner mod. T.S.D.A. has been designed to execute round and bevelled tenons (vertical, horizontal or inclined) on straight or curved pieces with different dimensions.
The machine features a solid structure and is equipped with a twin-table with non-slipping beds.
The tables slide on rectified cylindrical bars and they are controlled by pneumatic cylinders with hydraulic brake. Both tables can be independently adjusted for height and inclination.
The working cutter speed can be adjusted according to the dimensions, the type of tenon and the kind of wood.
The anti-splintering working cycle together with the alternating movement of the tables assure a clean and precise shaving.
The thickness, the length and the inclination of the tenon can be easily and quickly adjusted thanks to the equipment of graduated scales and mechanical digital read-outs.
The standard equipment of T.S.D.A. includes piece registers and a shaving cutter with throwaway TCT knives.
