Generally. Since its founding in the early 1980’s, Promot Automation has dedicated itself to the automation of machine tools. The goal and direction of the company has therefore always been to find the optimum machine tool automation solutions for its costumers.

Products. Basis of the product range is a modular building block principle of gantry robots. For the application “automation of machine tools” gantry robots have several advantages. On the one side the machine tool is freely accessible from the front, which facilitates tool changes, operation and quality control. On the other side the linear axes of the robot facilitate the operation and programming for the operator crucially. Thus the gantry robot can also be used economically with small lot sizes. In order to be able to solve the variety of the applications appropriately, a broadly varied product portfolio was developed:
