Contract for land with an area of 60,000 square meters was signed yesterday in the presence of the Minister of Economy, Adrean Videanu and the Prime Minister, Emil Boc. The plant in Ghimbav Brasov will be produced components for aircraft. The new facility will be employed 300 workers, their number will be increased gradually.

Production unit will be operational early in 2010, expansion will be completed in late 2011.

The new plant in Romania will be integrated with those of Augsburg, Bremen, Nordenham and Varel in Germany, the group of companies Premium AEROTEC.

Premium AEROTEC GmbH has over 6,000 employees and expects a turnover of around one billion euros in the year 2009. The main activity is the development and production of structures Aerospace Composites metal and carbon fibers and related devices and manufacturing systems. The company has production sites in Augsburg, Bremen, Nordenham and Varel in Germany and in the future and Ghimbav / county of Brasov in Romania.
