Mission: the skill of being ahead of times
Established in 1963 thanks to the enterprising initiative of its founder, Angelo Bartesaghi, in a territorial context that is particularly dynamic and specialized like the Lecco metal mechanic District, OMET turns itself towards an own market specialization, the realization of economic special bearings for the most varied applications, where the employment of ball bearings having standard precisions would prejudice the final cost of the product without improving the result.
It is the beginning of a way to a gradual and progressive growth that takes OMET to conquer a first-rank place on an international level in the field. A prestige result, outcome of the constant skill of OMET to be ahead of times, thanks to a deep knowledge of the needs of the customers. As a matter of facts one of the main features of OMET is the possibility to avail itself of the experience of OMET technicians for suitable quantities to make a custom-made bearing according to the technical needs of application of the customer.
The headquarters
Placed on an overall surface of approximately 6 thousand 500 meters distributed in two different complexes, OMET headquarters are located in Lecco, in the north of Lombardy, in an area among the most dynamic and lively from the business point of view in the whole country, at a very short distance from Milan.
Bearing Business Division headquarter is located:
Via Caduti Lecchesi a Fossoli, seat of the administration, commercial and technical offices, the production and quality control departments of the bearing division.

Bearings in turned steel with rolled or ground steel ball rails. Execution with riveted cage in iron or in nylon. They may have side shieldings for use in dusty environments. |  | Machine for converting in-line tissue, non-woven or other TNT materials, with high quality printing. New TV 505 is the most qualified machine for in-line converting of disposable products (napkins and folder products in general, tissue and various TNT materials). Converting is totally automatic. Starting from a roll, a finished product is obtained as a pack of folded, printed, embossed, perfumed and counted napkins. The production capacity of the machine is 2,300 napkins a minute (format 300 mm), linear speed 700 m/min. The machine is modular, both as to the number of printing units and all units that can be added in time. The embossing station has cassettes provided with a stock system for their easy and fast replacement and the possibility to make new insisions and maintenance works off line, while the machine is normally running. A common feature to all units is the AC motor drive in electric axis to reduce maintenance, noise, waste, start-up times and increase flexibility and productivity of the whole line. |  | Two-lane modular machine for large napkin productions up to 4 colours. TV 840 is the ideal machine for large napkin productions. It can manufacture 4,300 napkins/min.
Its solid and sturdy structure to obtain an absolute reliability and the use of innovative technical and mechanical solutions enable TV 840 to work 24 hours a day without the least lack of balance at the highest speeds, with both single and multi-ply napkins. A perfectly folded and aligned napkin as to print and embossing, one of the main features of Omet machines, is guaranteed also on TV 840.
