One example is the development of the patented TIN-COAT® method for the tin-plating aluminium pistons in the automobile industry.
Since the foundation of Galvano Chemie Leipzig GmbH as a manufacturing company associated with the Vopelius Group, we have been able to offer our clients surface treatment services for finished products involving the use of special metal salts.
After the transformation of the Vopelius Chemie GmbH into an Aktiengesellschaft (stock corporation) and with the merger with Galvano Chemie in Leipzig, the Vopelius Chemie AG has focussed on the manufacture and processing of products for the surface treatment of a wide diversity of materials. The Vopelius Chemie AG has also been working together with its clients to develop specific processes which increase both the efficiency and the safety of production systems.
Vopelius holds a considerable participation at CWP (Chemische Werke Piesteritz) GmbH, whose traditions in the production of phosphoric acid and phosphates can be traced back to the early 20th century.
This relationship has proved to be an efficient symbiotic union between the experienced trading company Vopelius Chemie AG and the young privatized production facility. The major benefit of this cooperation to date has been the joint development of a modern extraction process for phosphoric acid.
The development of Vopelius Chemie AG has not been only limited to the German and European market; after the reunification the activities have progressively been extended to the future growing markets in the East. With the foundation of the Foreign Trade Departmentin Berlin , the field foreign trade has especially been developed in the direction of Eastern Europe ans Asia. The emphasis of the company is not only based on the service in the field of chemical surface treatment but also regarding an extensive service in the field of cosmetics and treatment of plastic material.
The Berlin branch with its representative agencies at Moskow and Almaty offers an extensive and customer-orientated program in the field of cosmetics, household goods, plastic material for the CIS-countries.
