Hyfore design and manufacture jigs and fixtures for the automotive industry.
We were formed in 1989 as a manufacturer of jigs and fixtures to the automotive industry. In 1992 we manufactured our first special purpose production machine and in 1996 the first fully automatic material handling system was developed and installed. Since then, over 50 such systems have been delivered and installed.
Our strength is based on every possible part being designed and manufactured in house. This gives better control and makes future maintenance easier. In 2001, we joined the Engineering Technology Group of companies, a major UK Group specializing in the development and delivery of manufacturing solutions for low, medium and high volume production.
 | Automation systems Some examples of our successful installations include a fully automatic cell for five-axis machining of cast-iron components and a further cell for the machining of steel ring components. Both these cells are installed in the United Kingdom and both cells include buffer storage of raw material, the automatic loading of raw material in the machining area and the unloading of the finished component onto an output conveyor.
Raw material can be hopper, pallet or conveyor fed, utilizing pick-and-place units or overhead and front loaded gantry systems |  | Hydraulic fixtures We design and manufacture a wide range of component fixturing devices both power-clamped and manual. Each device can be hard mounted to the machine table or mounted in our design rotary devices for the machining of multiple component faces in one clamping.
|  | Special applications As a compliment to our standard range of products and services, we undertake special products, such as special purpose machines, either to customers own designs or involving our in-house design and consultancy service.
