SCHECHTL is one of the leading producers of shears and folding machines for sheet metal working. More than 45000 sold machines world-wide speak for themselves.
In 1910 the blacksmith Josef Schechtl started his own business as a blacksmith in Rosshart near Edling. In 1932 he invented the first Schechtl Folding Machine, Model KS1. It consisted of two rails and a welded steel and worked so well, that soon every craftsman knew about it. Soon afterwards the first plate shear - Model SJS - followed and a new successful engineering enterprise was started.
His son, Josef Schechtl jr., the eldest of nine children, took over the parental factory and re-deployed it to Edling at its present location in 1955. Soon a remarkable story of success began.
Alois Schechtl, his son and owner, enlarged the product line with motor-operated folding machines and plate shears and the business was lead to its present world-wide activities. Meanwhile over 100 employees and sell more than 2000 machines each year.
Our experience in sheet metal working is passed from generation to generation of employees who are recognized sheet metal experts. To the present day SCHECHTL is still a family owned company and we value the people we are working for and with. The quality of our products and the support for our customers is our main concern.
| Model MAX is a motor driven bending machine Model MAX is a motor driven bending machine with a capacity of max. 1,5 mm (related to 3100 mm working length). Model MAX stands for power, speed, operating comfort and flexibility. The speed of the bending beam with 80°/sec and the opening of the upper beam with 50 mm/sec are impressing. The upper beam opens while the bending beam moves down so the part can to be positioned for the next step simultaneously. The combination of the SCHECHTL CNC Touch Control, the motor-operated back gauge and the movable foot switch provides a bending system for "one-man-operation" even for sheets up to 3100 mm.
The work sheet is led through upper- and under beam and clamped perpendicular with the controlled closing of the upper beam. So the piece doesn't slide forwards being clamped and the accuracy is preserved. The upper beam clamping pressure can be adjusted on each side of the machine separately. The upper beam can be opened to approx. 140 mm.
Model MAX comes standard with a sharp rail 20° and a profile rail 20°, R = 2 mm for the upper beam and one of each insert rail 68/10 and 68/24 for the bending beam. All bending rails are exchangeable. The bending beam may be adjusted to different sheet thicknesses and radius' within seconds.
- motor operated back gauge inclusive 12 safety stop fingers
- easy adjustment of bending beam and upper beam
- mainly mechanical parts
- bearings and guideways are maintenancefree
- movable foot switch
- eccentric driven upper beam
- upper beam, lower beam and bending beam in welded steel design
- Moeller control elements, SEW motors
- CNC-Touch-Control with frequency inverter |
| Profiling Machines In the ventilation and heating branche sheets have to be stiffened to avoid vibration. Profiling the material in a Z-shape is the best way to do it. With the Z-profiling machine SZP sheets up to 2500 mm and a thickness of max. 1,5 mm can be stiffened in an easy and cost-effective way.
A noiseless gear motor with a capacity of 0,75 kW drives the lower profile rolls and provides the high speed of 20 m/min. The steel frame design guarantees a constant profiling result for the whole working length. | |
