Norma knows practically all today's cutting tools, inside and out. Mechanics, software and process experience of all Schneeberger applications are available. Also on offer are specialities such as profile grinding and production of throwaway tool tips, plus automatic handling. Precision is engineered and permanently produced; Norma as a robust basic machine is ready for the challenges of the future.
Automatic loading for production and regrinding are solved to perfection on Norma. Access to the ground tools is possible parallel to machining time, loader charging takes place with the proven pallets. All is convenient to access at the side of the machine. For programming the production batches, the CNC operator's panel is simply swung towards the loader. All movements of the loading robot are CNC controlled, i.e. pallet assignment and clamping are freely definable.
