Local presence in over 50 countries
It all began with ideas, courage and a pioneering spirit: In 1912 Emil Hoffmann established the Cyklop company in Cologne. Numerous product innovations and patented inventions formed the basis of rapid growth and systematic expansive strategy of the young company.
Nowadays Cyklop has branches, production plants and agencies in over 50 countries on all five continents and employs over 1,200 members of staff throughout the world.
Cyklop International headquarters is based in Cologne. This is where the logistics centre is located as well as the German production for machines and strap. Cyklop maintains other plants and production sites in , , , the and .
International know-how, integral solutions, innovative products and high manufacturing quality make Cyklop International a leading provider of systems for securing loads throughout the world.

 | Ampag 36 Transit strapping machine System-independent strapping machine for the secure and reliable strapping of newspaper bundles and magazines. Normal and cross strapping on one machine.
Special customer benefit:
• Availability > 99% due to very high production accuracy
• Minimal maintenance and life cycle costs due to maintenance-free
assemblies and a closing unit with dustproof enclosure
• Investment in the future due to modular machinery design. Options
which can be retrofitted at any time.
• Optimum return tensioning force for different package heights due to precision package height measurement
• Convenient, easy-to-understand operation due to plain text
display with symbol guidance
| | CLT 100 Handtool The battery-driven, semi-automatic hand tool.
For general application with light packages. The battery-driven hand tool is very comfortable – one-handed operation is possible - and processes different strap widths and thicknesses. The valuable friction seal and fully automatic sealing mode guarantee efficient and professional strapping cycles, even without a specialist.
• Fast and easy strapping: 1 button for 3 functions (tensioning, sealing and cutting off)
• Simple insertion – strap on strap, without lever
• Simple pre-selection: Strap tensioning and welding time within seconds per potentiometer
| | Cyklop PET Strap Premium Cyklop - PET - Premium - the first choice!
not only better for many applications, but also more economic than Cyklop Classic:
• Best quality raw material
• Greater elasticity / mm2
• Tensile strength up to 550 N/mm2
• Lower strap cross section, less material consumption per
strapping cycle thus environmentally friendly
• Significant savings on transport and storage costs
• Optimum retention
Cyklop Premium has a tensile strength of 550 N/mm2. Through low strap cross section Cyklop Premium has a higher elasticity which results in optimum retention. Cyklop Premium is ideal for heavy-duty strapping applications - with the same economic efficiency!
| | per straps per straps | | Semi-automatic machines > M-PAC 3 As universal as a hand tool, irrespective of package size
If the daily package volume is only limited, the M-PAC 3 can be considered
• For straps 5 – 15.5 mm wide, adjustable
• 10 to 20 strappings/min
• Mobile, with lockable castors
• Irrespective of package size
• Working height adjustable
• Energy-saving stand-by mode
| | Steel strapping Sometimes simply better.
Steel strapping is the classic method of securing loads – and despite the numerous advantages of plastic strap it is sometimes the better solution, even today. For example, when strapping very heavy loads or if the items have particularly sharp edges which might possibly damage a plastic strap.
Consequently, the question of 'plastic or steel' cannot be answered in general terms but only with careful examination of the applications in operations.
In the case of loads where circumference tends to decrease steel straps are not to be recommended though: Owing to their low elasticity they are unable to restore their original length – tensioning force declines considerably or even disappears completely.
Cyklop supplies steel straps in widths from 9 to 32 mm, plus a comprehensive range of strapping devices: From the simple manual tensioning tool to the convenient automatic strapping machine nothing is left to be desired in terms of customers' requirements.

| | Steel strapping > Machines > AF/AP 111 The AF / AP 111 M series
Operation:
The load is conveyed to the required strapping position. The automatic strapping process is started. The strap is guided round in the strap guide and stretched round the load at an optimised tension, then sealed and cut off. The procedure is repeated for each load, depending on the number of strapping cycles. The strapping head is located on top of the package.
AF/AP 111 MVB
Only the strapping head is lowered to the package height. The difference in height between the highest and the lowest load can be a maximum of 550 mm.
AF/AP 111 MKB
Not just the strapping head lowers onto the pallet load but the entire upper strap guide frame. Strapping can be performed even if pallet height is only 300 mm or less.
Main advantages:
• Compact, minimal space required
• Easy access to all mechanical components,
to facilitate service and maintenance
• Fast and economical to manufacture
• High strap tension, up to 7 KN
• Modular adaptation to type and size of package
• Strapping head service-friendly
• Easy to integrate into existing conveyor lines. Adjustable in height
• No need for a base. Minimal space required.
• Fully electric, 3-ph. + N or electric/hydraulic
• All the machine functions are electronically program controlled, with plain text display
• The modules are manufactured in series, each to the same specifications and with the
same precision
• The results are high reliability and minimised servicing
