ABG-PACKMAT AG Switzerland does exist since 1890 and was in the past well-known as Willi Maschinenbau AG. Already for more than 30 years, the developing and the manufacturing of packaging machines and commissioning systems has become our major business area. In the middle of the seventies, they extended the product range with feeding systems for flat products from Willi Maschinenbau AG in .
In the early eighties, the form-fill & seal machine to pack small parts was born. Therefore, PACKMAT have had several main pillars for a successful business development.
In 1991 the company PACKMAT moved from Kernen to the new building in Villingendorf next to Rottweil..
Midyear 1990, the company PAKCRAFT joined the firm group. PAKCRAFT's termination of production was in the end of the nineties.
ABG Apparatebau
In May 1971 the company ABG in Boxberg started with the manufacturing of counting machines for the fitting industry (automatic counting of screws in different quantities for fitting bags and so on).
In the middle of the seventies, ABG has developed packaging machines that processes folded film in rolls. In the beginning of 1978 the packaging machine type UBM was launched. The UBM processes films in rolls and is forming flat film via format shoulder to a half hose (folded film).
1980 the company ABG moved to Leonberg.
