Müller Weingarten AG is the only machinery and plant manufacturer in the world to combine the three key areas of expertise in metalforming, and above all in terms of automotive manufacturing: sheet metal forming, forging and diecasting.
Its extensive product portfolio puts the company in the center of production technology for vehicle components used in drive, chassis and body systems.
As well as its German sites in Weingarten, Esslingen, Erfurt and Remscheid, the Müller Weingarten Group owns subsidiaries in China, the USA, Mexico, Switzerland, the UK, France, Spain and the Czech Republic as well as maintaining a network of service centers worldwide. Müller Weingarten develops innovative installations and methods for the automobile industry for the forming, forging and die casting of a whole range of materials.
We help our customers to develop market opportunities and work with them to tap product and cost benefits by optimizing the production technology and use of materials.
Customers from other industries throughout the world also benefit from our experience with the sophisticated requirements of the automotive industry.
Müller Weingarten merged into Schuler Group
In April of 2007 Müller Weingarten AG became a Schuler Group company. Structures and locations of the two companies complement each other ideally. The merger results in a group company that is represented in more than twenty countries and available to customers worldwide as a contact for sales, production and service. A significantly larger engineering presence will provide new impulses for the development of innovative, future-oriented products. In this way, we are better able to provide our customers with the productivity and cost-effectiveness they need to meet the competitive challenges of the future.
 | Blanking Presses with one connecting rod Current standards in die manufacturing provided the impetus for the development of AZ/AZS blanking presses with one connecting rod. The enclosed straight-side construction with one connecting rod permits high rpms and guarantees a high degree of precision thanks to the pre-stressed roller guiding when using dies with narrow shearing clearances. | | Mechanical multi-station presses The classical multi-station press differs from transfer presses primarily the fact that single forming stations can be individually adjusted. Another point of difference is the externally located blanking slide for the integrated production of blanks.
Multi-station presses may be single-slide or multi-slide in design and are available in capacities of 2.500 kN to 60.000 kN. Part transport is provided optionally by mechanical or electric rail transfer systems. | | NOVA Basic NOVA Basic presses are standard C-frame (open-front or gap-frame) presses designed for manual loading. The line is offered in capacities of 400, 630, 1.000, 1.600 and 2.500 kN. The Basic product line meets the requirements of customers for a simple and economical C-frame press. | | Presse lines Press lines by Schuler ensure maximum uptime and optimal production rates. The customer profits from the experience and know-how of highly qualified specialists.
We recommend the use of hydraulic press lines for flexible production of different parts in small to medium lot sizes. Larger numers for high-volume production, on the other hand, can be manufactured efficiently on mechanical press lines.
With the introduction of its press line with servo drive, we set new standards regarding production rates, flexibility, and economy.
In addition to robots and feeders the new crossbar technology is also being integrated into the manufacturing process. Depending on production rates, component dimensions, and material properties, the automation solutions include Crossbar Robots, Crossbar Feeders or Speedbar. | |
