Electric arc welding without protection is harmful Our line of products is entirely researched and designed to meet the requirements of prevailing standards, your comfort and aesthetic appeal.
Active welding filters provide continuous protection against UV/IR emissions, heat, sparks and projectiles. The degree of protection provided by the filter is designed to avoid blinding by the electric arc.
When an electric arc is activated, active welding filters darken automatically. When the arc is extinguished, they go back to their initial transparent state. Thus, active welding filters free up both of the welder’s hands, which saves time, helps avoid fatigue and ensures much better quality, because the arc can be positioned more accurately.

Adsorption Method forSampling of Dioxins and Furans Applications
The continuous monitoring of dioxin and furan emissions of incinerators is a topic which has been discussed globally over the last several years. Even though a continuous on-line monitoring system would be the optimum solution, such systems are not available. Therefore, long-term sampling using AMESA could close the gap between reality and target results. AMESA provides more informations on dioxin emissions than the usual short-term collection of samples over a few hours on 1 – 3 selected days per year.
The TUV approved AMESA monitoring system is used for measuring dioxin/furanemissions in plants which have to be approved and are subject to the German environmental regulations 17. BImSchV and TA Luft.

The BEAM BUG is a lightweight, easy to carry machine designed to cut beams, channels and angles from one rail setting. It produces smooth, square, accurate cuts and virtually eliminates grinding and touch up. Now, you can take the machine to the work and greatly reduce material handling costs.
The BEAM BUG is positioned on the workpiece by placing the beam rail on top of the beam. This rail is held in position by powerful permanent magnets and beam clamps. The beam rails enable miter cuts on webs, and when the work can positioned, on the flanges too.
The BEAM BUG carriage has a push-button clutch and locks onto the beam rail. It is easily removed for handling and/or storage. A single speed control sets both vertical and horizontal travel speed. Movement in wither direction is selected by a toggle switch. Positive rack and pinion drives with infinitely variable speed control insure precise cutting speeds. Limit switches prevent vertical overrun. Gases are controlled by a quick-acting manifold which eliminates repetitive torch adjustment. Double-bearing wheels provide rigidity and accuracy. The torchholder and torch swivel to the correct position, and positioning pins set bevel angles. The BEAM BUG III is supplied with a 10" (254mm) two-hose machine torch and three cutting tips. Axial stroke whirling Axial stroke whirling is a suitable process for almost any pitch and inside diameter.
The basic idea of this process consists in substituting the rotation of the tool inclined by the pitch angle - that is required in order to produce the spiral contour - by a superimposed rotation/translation movement. The necessary stroke depends directly on the pitch. In addition, the tool is inclined by the pitch angle in the rotating and oscillating whirling mandrel.
This design allows the bearing and gear unit to be transferred from the inside diameter to the outside so that there are no space limitations restricting the sturdiness of these elements. In this case again, the support of the tool head by means of guide bars in the inside diameter ensures reliable guidance of the tool. Inside diameters from 15 mm onwards can thus be machined in virtually any lengths. Conic contours can also be produced without guiding tool head with the cutting process being limited exclusively by the maximum admissible projecting length of the whirling mandrel

In contrast to conventional turning operations characterised by a stationary tool and a workpiece rotating at high circumferential speed, whirling involves an eccentrically rotating high-speed tool combined with a slowly rotating workpiece.
As the rotational axes of the workpiece and the tool support with the fixed tool are offset, an interrupted cutting process with discontinuous chip formation is obtained.

Both axes are inclined by the pitch angle so that in the contact point the tangent of the curve of rotation of the tool corresponds to the helix. The translatory movement required for thread cutting is produced by displacing the workpiece or the tool.
The actual feed motion required for chip removal results from the difference between the tool and workpiece speeds. Tool and workpiece can also rotate in different directions; i. e. cutting can be carried out in co-rotation or in counter-rotation.
The cutting edge penetrates into the workpiece on a circular path thus separating a chip. The workpiece than continues to turn by a certain rotation angle that is determined by the relation between tool and workpiece speed and the next chip is removed.
A defect in the form of "humps" is thus produced during the cutting process. This geometry deviation does generally not involve any negative effect as the maximum of these "humps" lies in the profile core diameter and decreases sinusoidally relative to the profile flanks. The surface contour obtained can be represented in the form of a traverse with convex connection lines. The form error with regard to the nominal tool circle is a function of turning frequency and tool and workpiece diameters as well as of the number of cutting edges.

Coilers To enable the processing of coiled raw materials, the strip feeding systems need to be equipped with so-called coilers. The design of the coilers enables the processing of source materials of different in- and outside diameters and thicknesses. Depending on the dimension of the coil, the equipment operates either in pulling off or in uncoiling mode. The cutting or forming process defines the speed of the strip during the execution of the uncoiling procedure.
The carrying force of the ebu coilers ranges from 500 kg to > 20,000 kg.

STA Monobloc Basically, the automatic Monoblock design punching presses are made of welded steel. The FEM optimised and deformation-tested design guarantees highest rigidity. All other assembly groups, such as the drive, the drive trains, the con-rod, the bearing and the plunger are unitised design elements.
Monoblock designs can be realised only up to a certain frame size. We can build machines of this type with press ratings of up to 10,000 kN and table sizes of currently up to 3,000 mm length. With any values beyond that, the press bodies need to be of a split design.

STA-G Split design All split type punching machines made by Burkhardt are cast designs. Only very large parts or components and split machine versions that cannot be cast are steel type constructions.
Hydraulically prestressed tie rods enable the assembly and prestressing of the different press body components in the machine frame. The use of correspondingly selected materials guarantees the high rigidity and optimal attenuation behaviour of the frame.
Currently, split type automatic punching machines with press ratings from 400 kN to 10,000 kN can be produced. The length of the benches is limited to maximum 5,000 mm. All machines of this series are, true to the unitised construction design realised with them, available as one or two plunger equipped versions and can be equipped with different drive variants.

Straightening machines The straightening machine is the central element of any strip feeding plant. Putting your material into a homogenous and stress relieved condition is the task that has been assigned to it. This is the basis for both the unchangingly high standard of your manufacturing processes and the optimal utilisation of expensive tools. The efficiency and profitability of feed press systems is essentially co-determined by the performance and quality of the strip feeding system used with it. This is why the choice of the straightening machine requires your particular attention.
Expensive damages to your equipment or material due to dirt or other types of pollution can, to the greatest extent, be excluded when using ebu straightening technologies. The openable straightening head or the removable straightening tool holder provides easier access and facilitates the fast and more frequent cleaning of the rollers.
The non-sensitive hydraulic or frequency-controlled drive provides for the notably good straightening results.
The diameters and number of the straightening rollers have been geared to the required sheet metal thicknesses and to the working duties to be covered.

Short Path Evaporator Buss-SMS-Canzler Short Path Evaporator System in skid-mounted design.
The pressure difference between the boiling film and the condensing surface is the driving force for the vapour flow. Operating below 1 mbar requires extremely short distance between the boiling surface and the condensing surface to minimise the pressure drop caused by the vapour flow. For this reason one also talks of Short Path, High Vacuum or Molecular Distillation. The short path evaporator has an internal condenser opposite the heated surface enabling operations down to 0.001 mbar.
Our Short Path Evaporators are characterised by its sturdy construction and the special rotors. The rotors will process products with demanding properties with regard to high viscosity, high boiling temperature and suspended solids.

Heating tables Interior design today is inconceivable without solid surface materials, such as Corian, Wilsonart, Paracor or Varicor. The acrylic resin component makes the material thermoformable. Natural Aggregates Each quarrying activity produces a morphological modification of the territory and must be realized in agreement with the geological characteristics of the ore body and of surrounding morphology.
Buzzi Unicem runs several quarries and invests human and financial resources to provide recovery of environment in the quarries areas in order to mitigate impact related to extraction activities.
Inside the quarry stoping of compact rocks is realized with explosive. After the blast, biggest sized material is reduced in smaller pieces suitable for subsequent processing. Handling and transport are performed with tractors and excavators and, with help of power loaders, material is loaded on dumpers and transported to crushing plants.
Aggregates for concrete production undergo a first crushing and then a dry screening is performed and/or a second crushing.
Subsequently material desilting is performed to separate unwanted smallest sections (silts).
Sieving allows classification of aggregates following granulometric classes to make a correct compound of mix for concrete.

Ready-Mix Concrete Ready-mix concrete is a construction material obtained mixing natural aggregates, cement and water, and its production has always been the main use of cement. Production and distribution of ready-mix concrete are realized in concrete mixing plant.
Sized materials (aggregates), after treatment and selection following granulometric classification, are stored in hoppers then, through a special extractor, are appropriately batched and sent to charging hopper by a conveyor belt.
Dust materials (cements) are stored into silos equipped with dust exhausting systems and sent to the weighting device and to the charging hopper by screw conveyors.
