When Hermann Schwelling founded his one-man company in 1971, he had two ideals written large: innovation and quality. These virtues, which have characterised HSM since it developed its first baling presses in 1972, are the foundations for its success. Over the years, HSM has gradually grown and has become a company which is active around the world , but which still stays true to its German roots.

Plant 2 / Reichenbach, Germany: Manufacture of baling presses, 43,000 m², thereof approx. 8,500 m² production facilities and offices
Plant 3 / Frickingen, Germany: Manufacture of paper shredders (smaller models), 19,000 m², thereof approx. 7,700 m² production facilities and offices
Plant 4 / Kosice, Slovakia: Manufacture of devices, 18,000 m², thereof approx. 2,000 m² production facilities and offices

Modern machinery, large production depth, mostly CNC machines as well as CNC laser cutting systems, robot systems, quality testing devices and quality assurance systems
