Our aim is to be a reliable partner to the industry wherever linking elements and joint combinations of any type are needed. We manufacture exclusively in our plant in the small town of Kuelsheim-Steinbach in Baden-Wurttemberg and have always got more than 12.000 standard parts in stock for you. Furthermore, we have specialized in manufacturing parts and components to drawings which are intended for very special applications in all branches of industry. We offer our entire know-how to our customers ranging from planning and manufacturing right through to the assembly of the product.
mbo was founded by Anton and Irmgard Osswald in 1967 and now has a production and stock area of about 8,000 m². The most modern manufacturing methods and 70 well qualified employees ensure that the highest quality requirements can be satisfied. Our in-house quality control monitors the entire production process critically from the delivery of the raw material to the shipping of the finished product. Over the years this principle has made us a reliable partner to the industry and formed the basis of our steady growth.
Our friendly and competent team advises and supports every customer in all questions from the placing of the order to the punctual delivery. In addition, there is our control procedure which systematically accompanies every stage of the production process and gives our customers the assurance that they will only receive products which have been thoroughly checked. Our company was founded by Anton Osswald in 1967 and registered as the “Maschinenbau Anton Osswald KG“ in the commercial register. The aim of the two-man company was to manufacture and market linking elements such as bolts and clevises for industrial applications. Right from the start, Anton Osswald concentrated on producing products of the highest quality which were only delivered to the customer after stringent checks. This principle was the foundation of the good reputation of products from Külsheim-Steinbach and this is still anchored in the heads of all employees today.
In 1985, the son Dr. Manfred Osswald joined the company and became responsible for the commercial management. Under his leadership, the quality principle was intensified in the sales and service areas. Customer wishes have always had the highest priority. This starts with the first contact but doesn’t end with the delivery of the required product.
In 1988, the second son Rainer Osswald joined the company management and thus made the family business complete. Being an engineer, he took over the technical management and continuously strived to improve the manufacturing methods in order to be able to satisfy the customers’ individual wishes more economically and effectively whereby quality requirements were always in the foreground.
Together they managed the company very successfully and always kept their target of healthy growth in mind. In order to prepare mbo for further successful growth in the future, the mbo Osswald GmbH & Co KG Company was founded in 1996.
The company now has more than 70 well-qualified employees and a production and stock area of 8,000 m². In addition to more than 12,000 standard parts always available from stock, the proportion of “specials“made to customers’ drawings continuously increases, products which are needed by the industry for very special applications.
It is therefore absolutely necessary for mbo to have all the important certifications available which confirm the confidence our customers have in us. We were therefore awarded:
