UNION KC 110 with automatic pallet changer

A modern machine with 5 NC-axes for parts of medium weight up to 6 tons and a working envelope of 2.5 x 2 x 1.2 m erected on an even foundation and featuring performance parameters to meet highest demands in metalworking industry. The all-around enclosure permits a diameter of rotation of work pieces to be cut of 2200 mm. Chip and coolant discharge facilities are arranged above floor level. Automatic tool and pallet changers sustain universal application of machine as a machining center. UNION PC 130

The traveling-column or 3D machine is ideal for machining of large-size parts clamped in stationary fixtures. Work pieces with overall sizes of 3.5 m in height and 25 m in length clamped on suitable floor plates can be machined across their surface and five-sided machining is ensured by docked milling heads. This machine can be delivered in two headstock versions, too – either with projected bearing sleeve and milling spindle or integral facing head and boring spindle with unrestricted numbers of revolutions. In association with rotary, positioning, and tilting tables of various sizes and loads, pick-up stations for milling heads, facing heads or special tools, it is one of the most universal working machines in a mechanical workshop.
