Energetic Cleaning Technologies undertakes explosive-based cleaning services and inspections, using special camera systems, for both emergencies and for, routine maintenance operations. Reputed for their flexibility and dedication, our mobile teams are on call 24 hours a day.

ON-LINE INDUSTRIAL BOILER CLEANING

Our patented on-line technique allows us to undertake cleaning during full production and extreme temperatures. The explosives are placed on lances and inserted into the boiler through manholes. A controlled explosion then reduces the deposit to dust.

Three different technologies are utilised for this technique, depending on the specific nature of the work required. Telescopic lances can either be used in combination with traditional explosives, or with 90� rotating equipment. Aluminium pipes with a fuse cord can also be used.

OFF-LINE BOILER CLEANING

When your installations are shut down we use our off-line method. Linear explosives are introduced into the flues and draught columns. After the explosives have been positioned a master detonation plan triggers a precise sequence of explosions.

When the deposit has been removed from the surface that required cleaning, it can be extracted by using either vacuum techniques, a hopper cyclone, or through industrial funnels that transfer the waste to removal belts. These methods may also be applied in combination.

ASSESSING THE LEVEL OF DIRT

Energetic Cleaning Technologies also offers the possibility of creating film recordings while the boiler is in operation.

Two different camera systems are used for this purpose. The first is an infrared camera system for recordings from 400�C to 1,200�C in bundled sections. For inspections within the furnace, we possess a high-temperature camera system that can record at up to 1,600�C. While recording is taking place we offer our customers the chance to view the footage, so that they may personally assess the level of dirt in the boiler section.
