| The process oriented processing of 2K- and 3K-paints under industrial production conditions generally needs an especially reliable process flow which may only be granted by continuously active monitoring and control of partial processes from the paint supply units up to the application area. Thus coating applications with more-component paints with modern coating machines are not any longer be conceivable without the use of suitable mixing plants.
Already at an early stage, Sprimag has recognized this necessity and for this reason is offering corresponding mixing plants for several years. Within continuous measurements for improvements, as a result of successful developments of Sprimag, the current machine generation has been optimized in many technical details compared to its predecessors. On this occasion the approved gravimetric measuring procedure for paint components as well as the mixing principle inside the mixing chamber has been retained also for the currently designed variants. Constantly precise stirring of paint components are granted and cover a wide spectrum - independent if water or solvent based paints are used. No long-winded calibration or "metering by the liter" is necessary and also very difficult paint systems, which change extremely its performances during pot times, may be processed. The Sprimag modular design allows different variants of the layout. According to the configuration characteristics with consumption quantities between 30 g/min and 800 g/min with a range of viscosity between 10 s and 120 s in accordance with a DIN 4-flow cup and a mixing ratio between 5:1 and 15:1 may be achieved.
