Company Profile Founded in 1962， DIETERLE started to produce cam sets for lathes. The company was growing quickly， so in 1972 we moved into a new office and production building. The abundant space made it possible to expand in a future-orientated way. Production of profile ground tools for external and internal machining began， followed by the production of insert tooling for automatic lathes. Extensive investments in sophisticated machinery and checking/control devices guaranteed for this range to become very successful. Over the years we have continuously expanded our range with new tool conceptions and inventions， while we always took the requirements of our customers into account. Current machining problems are， and will always be， a challenge for us to produce solutions for the benefit of our customers. Most CNC machines can turn in axial direction, so that the required length of the polygon can be reached by turning.
If you can not turn in axial direction, as is the case with most cam controlled machines, we stoc carbide insert blanks for polygon grooving in different widths, which can be adjusted to the width your component requires.

The machine has to have a driven unit and a main spindle with C-axis.
