OSG developed a new type of carbide long drill which makes a hole with one plunge and achieves five times more efficiency. Carbide long drills were not used for this application before because of the possibility of breakage during the operation. However, this drill has an excellent chip ejection to avoid chipping and breakage. Now the drill has a high reputation among users.
