LEON ENGINEERING is a major European Manufacturer of Weighbridges, Truck Scales, Weighing Electronics and Industrial Scales in the International market, and leader in Industrial Weighing and Process Automation in Greece. The company was founded in 1980 as a trading company, which first introduced the electronic weighing in Greece. In 1986 it began with the in-house design and production of weighing indicators and the fabrication of truck scales, weighbridges. It rapidly imposed itself as the top player in the Greek market .
In 1995 the company acquired the ISO 9001 Quality Assurance System Certification and invested on infrastructure for the quality control of the products and services it supplied.
At the same time it started closing the first co-operations with foreign scale manufacturers and exporting its line of weighing terminals abroad.
Since 1997 the exports activities are the major part of Leon Engineering's business. Today the company exports its products in more than 40 countries via a worldwide network of scale manufacturers, distributors and OEMs.
