Since the time the company was founded in 1946 by Herrmann Weyhmller, we have been involved with paper as a raw material, using its versatility and developing new technologies for paper processing and the manufacture of packing. In that respect, nothing has changed till today. What has changed are the markets and their requirements for product management and quality management.
In an international market, only those who earn an advantage in know-how and service, and who nurture and further develop core competences can survive. Thus, for us, it is both, a philosophy as well as a daily agenda to be always in a position to manufacture all our parts in-house - so that we can remain flexible at peak order times and under deadline pressure.
We now supply to more than 50 countries in all the five continents of the world; and since more than a decade now, Asia is one of our most important markets, which we support through our own representative in Shanghai.
Our export share is more than 70%, proof of the flexibility and dynamism that distinguishes Weyhmller. And the very experiences as a "global player", which we gather daily prove to be a great advantage to our national customers
Today, many packing products of well-known manufacturers are manufactured with machines from WEYHMLLER, whose reliability and precision are held in high regard all over the world.
As early as in 1952, the first machines were installed in Germany. Exports to the American continent started just a little later, both to North America as well as Latin America. What started with just an idea is today an enterprise with world-wide operations offering a comprehensive range of solutions for the most varied packing tasks.
