The HKS process technology GmbH was based in 1993 by Dipl. engineer Olaf Hollmann, Dipl. engineer Michael Kiese, and Dr. Volker Schauder .

Our base
Before: they researched in the former central welding institute of the GDR (ZIS), (today SLV Halle/Saale), are working in the area of quality assessment (assurance of arc welding based on welding parameters.)
This knowledge was accumulated over decades is the bases of the products and the success of the HKS-Prozesstechnik GmbH.
The company received the innovation award from the land of Saxony-Anhalt
in 1998.
