40 years ago Ernst Suhner, who founded the company "DORIT" in Switzerland, developed the first automatic pickle injector. In just a short time, the company had expanded their product range from pickle injectors and brine preparing systems to manufacturing vacuurn tumblers, salting-, marinating- and mixing machinery, dry and cooked cured meat presses, stuffing and clipping equipment, netshirring and netspreading devices, ham moulds and mould lid presses as well as a variety of specialised equipment of all kinds. Today, Dorit machines are not only made for the salted meat processing industry, but also for application in the treatrnent of poultry-, fish- and seafood specialities. In addition, there are many companies in the nut-, chocolate- and pet food industry, who are currently using our products.
The German company DORIT was founded in 2001, due to the growing demands of the Common Market. In 2003 Anton Schmid, who has been working for DORIT since 1985, became the controlling shareholder of DORIT in Gerrnany and is now the owner of the company. A new company - the DFT Deutsche Fleischtechnik GmbH - was set up by Maria and Anton Schmid in 2006. These two companies form the »Meat Processing Equipment Group DORIT/DFT«. The Group DORITl DFT is now supplying a full range of equipment for the curing industry, to countries all over the world. We lay emphasis on quick and speedy order processing as well as offering expert consultation services. The Meat Processing Equiprnent Group DORIT/DFT acts as both a planning and consulting cornpany, various projects being planned and carried out under one roof

Appropriate injection and brine filtering systems ensure injection success with all kinds of brine of different viscosities. On top of this, our pickle injectors are also userfriendly in operation, in maintenance and in cleaning.

For injection of bone-in and boneless products |  | Vacuum Tumbler DORIT/DFT is able to supply a complete range of vacuum tumblers with a capacity from 20 to 10.000 litres, due to our long history of production in this field. Within our expansive range of equipment, we can offer the ideal unit for butcher, shops or restaurants and hotels, as well as units for medium and large industrial processors. Further technological alternatives available to our customers are our vacuum pressure- and cooling tumblers, which work either together as a double-jacket version with glycol or as units, injecting liquid nitrogen or carbon dioxide. This procedure guarantees an optimal protein extraction.
