The angular clamp is manually placed in the T-slot provided in press ram or bed. The die is clamped on its clamping edge by applying hydraulic pressure to the piston and mechanically unclamped by a spring return.

Design:
Monitoring of the clamping and unclamping positions gives a high degree of safety.
Double-acting wedge clamp for clamping dies on press beds and slides or in injection moulding machines. The clamping bolt has a 20° chamfer to clamp on the bevelled clamping edge of the die. The internal design of the clamp, together with the 20° chamfer on the clamping bolt, results in a frictional fit.
