With 250,000 clients in retail and the corporate world, it’s fair to say Bank Moscow-Minsk (BMM) is important to the region in which it operates. Therefore, the market will appreciate the good news of a €20 million finance programme being extended by the EBRD.
Within the package, €10 million is part of the Trade Facilitation Programme (TFP) and will go towards supporting international trade operations. For the other half, a credit line will be introduced for MSMEs (micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises). With these loans, both importers and exporters in Belarus will receive the support they need whilst BMM can expand trade finance both now and long into the future.
