Lagge Control AB is a Swedish technology company having many years of experience in developing and supplying complete industrial hardware- and software systems. We have been established as a joint stock since 1949, and have presently six permanently appointed employees.

We essentially work in two areas:

Development of various complete testing- and condition monitoring systems.

Sales of a variety of industrial supplies, such as convoluted metal hoses, valves and pressure gauges.

During the last 14 years we have manufactured a vibration monitoring system called System Reporter. This system was designed from a specification done by expert´s from Swedish hydroelectric power plants (Svenska Vattenfall AB). Today about 35 hydroelectric power units are equipped with System Reporter as their primary supervision alarm- and trip system.
System Reporter

Machine breakdowns cost industry a lot of money every year and unplanned breakdowns are often directly visible in the profitability records of the company. In many cases the large costs are due to the lack of production during the time it takes to repair the machine.

System Reporter™ is a condition monitoring system measuring vibrations in all kinds of revolving machinery. This includes low-speed applications such as hydroelectric power plants, high-speed applications such as gas turbines and complex industrial production lines such as paper machines.The system is not limited to measuring vibrations; it is also capable of monitoring temperatures, pressures, levels, etc.

System Reporter™ include the implementation of an expert system into the analysis software. This simplifies the interpretation of alarms and pinpoints the machine part that causes the error. More information about the expert system is found below.
Data collector

In a modern paper mill where hundreds of rolls, pumps, motors etc. has to be monitored it is important to have a reliable and easy to use periodic offline rounding system.

In order to complete the System Reporter™ product range, we can now offer offline measurements via the Movipack™ data collector from 01dB. This handheld unit contains e.g. 2 vibration channels, 1 trigger input, incorporated temperature measurement, built-in tachometer, measurement point recognition, 32 MB memory. It's compact size, low weight (0.9kg) and smart layout makes the offline vibration measurements easy and straightforward.

From the System Reporter™ software, the required offline routes can be designed and uploaded to the Movipack™ unit. After completion of the measurements, the collected data can be downloaded to the PC for further analysis in the System Reporter™ analysis software. The communication is using the fast USB interface.
 
PRESSROOM
06-12-04: Lagge Reporter products have been upgraded with OPC Server function and can communicate with different OPC Clients for displaying data to Process Control Computers. SCA Ortviken have updated all 19 measuring stations (900 transducers) to save measuring data into there PI (Process Information System)
