Huhnseal AB was founded in 1983 when I retained all the rights to the trademark, drawings, machinery and inventory from Gustav Huhn AB.
Within specific areas of seal technology we are the leaders of the market. Our markets include all industrial sectors where mechanical seals are used.
To be successful we constantly invest in equipment, resources and education.In January 2000 we moved into brand new facilities that have been tailor made for our operations and are built to the highest of environmental standards.
Engineering and design is done in 3D CAD software, and we invest highly in test equipment and R&D. We have created relations with external experts in e.g. material technology, which have resulted in that we, together with �ngstamlaboratoriet in Uppsala, are currently building an operation to coat sealing faces with diamond.
We own several patents and a seal product program that covers most of what the market requires. With current seal face materials we are able to cover all normal applications with very good results. Until now there has not been a seal face material available capable of dry running or can withstand very high pressures and speeds. Therefore, we are introducing a diamond coated seal face which will reduce the friction to 1/3 with the material beeing 3 times harder than the hardest seal face material on the market today.

We have several patens and unique designs which give our customers better sealing solutions, longer running times and lower maintainance costs.
Our most recent R&D project with diamond coating on seal faces is very promising. The diamond coated seal faces give much better performance than other seal face materials where higher pressure, speed and acceptance for dry running are some of the advantages.
Huhnseal moved into new, customized buildings in December 1999 for more efficienct production and better working environment for our employees.

Den är idealisk för installation i pumpar och omrörare där det är svårt att dra ut hela axeln och den klarar normala tryck, temperaturer och varvtal. Då tätningen levereras i två halvor som spänns ihop med hjälp av åtta skruvar, är den mycket lätt att installera. With the springs located on the atmospheric side, outside the seal, they are protected against particles that can clog-up the spring movement. Patented.
The seal accommodates variable pressures from both the product and from the barrier fluid since the seal is double balanced.
For product temperatures below 80C and speeds less than 1450 RPM it is possible to flush the seal dead-ended, which means there is no consumption of sealing water | |
