Our latest: the BeachTech Sweepy hydro
In the market segment of small, one-axle beach cleaners, our BeachTech Sweepy model has definitely proven its worth! However, in the recent years the requests for a hydrostatically driven machine with more power became increasingly frequent and we at BeachTech felt it was our responsibility to answer that call by developing the BeachTech Sweepy hydro. And to top it all off, we made the BeachTech Sweepy hydro into a multi-functional all purpose machine, a true all-rounder!

The hydrostatic drive makes it especially easy to operate and with the new modular quick-change system, the BeachTech Sweepy hydro can be used for a wide range of other tasks away from the beach. The most distinctive new features of this progressive machine are a larger working width, more loading capacity and two side by side screening meshes for less vibration: these make operation for the customers much easier for their small beach areas, in corners and between deck chairs. Higher performance, easier operation, improved manoeuvrability and an even more thorough sand shake out are the results. Come and have a look on it on our stand – we are looking forward to meeting you!

BeachTech – at home on the beaches around the world
BeachTech – at home on the beaches around the world
With a well-engineered and designed product range, BeachTech beach cleaning machines provide a perfect cleaning for any sand beach. When tourism is your primary source of revenue, up to date equipment for beach maintenance is a must.
BeachTech 3000 - power and performance
For big beaches with large amounts of trash to be collected, the BeachTech 3000 is unrivalled: a working width of 2.50 m and an enormous loading volume of 4.7 m³ which - even with a very large operating range - limit the number of trips to the unloading station, saving valuable resources. Working width of 2.50 meters. Performance capacity up to 30,000 square meters per hour. Optimal cleaning with a 2-belt system for raking and screening. Loading volume of 4.7 m³ for limited trips to unload debris. A finisher for optimal aerating and structuring of the beach.
BeachTech 2000 - agile and handy
Great efficiency for a rather small machine: with a working width of 1.800 mm, the BeachTech 2000 cleans up to 20.000 square meters per hour of dry sand and 8.500 square meters per hour of wet sand. The extraordinarily high sieving quality results from the very long screening belt. It is extremely manoeuvrable for passing through narrow access roads or tight spots on the beach. The collected litter can be discharged directly into the back of a dump truck or onto a trailer (height for unloading hopper: 2.60 m).
BeachTech 2800 - high-tech beach cleaning
The BeachTech 2800 combines the area efficiency of the BeachTech 3000 with the maneuverability of the smaller BeachTech 2000, making the BeachTech 2800 the most efficient, high-tech beach cleaner at its price point. As for economics, the BeachTech 2800 is a "best-in-class" performer. The combination of a large working width, high hopper capacity, smaller dimensions and a lower weight not only provides for excellent area efficiency but also allows for a lower fuel consumption of the tractor that pulls the BeachTech 2800.
BeachTech Marina - all in one
Tractor and beach cleaner combined in one machine. For those who don’t or won’t have an extra tractor. It was especially designed for small and medium-sized beaches with hard-to reach corners. Extremely maneuverable thanks the hydrostatic all-wheel-drive and articulated front and rear wheel steering. With the optional front hitch for non beach cleaning equipment, you can turn the BeachTech Marina into a true year round machine to be used for sweeping walkways and parking lots, mowing grass or clearing away the snow in the winter time.
BeachTech Sweepy hydro - a little miracle
Tiny but swift and thorough: the BeachTech Sweepy hydro is the efficient and economic completion of our fleet of beach cleaners. Its size and maneuverability make the BeachTech Sweepy hydro the ideal machine to clean and level out small beaches, especially between rows of deck chairs as well as volleyball courts, children's sandboxes and other sandy areas
 BeachTech—the Bacteria Terminator
BeachTech—the Bacteria Terminator
Long-term studies at the City of Racine Health Department Laboratory in Wisconsin, USA, conducted by Dr. Julie Kinzelman, confirm that mechanical beach cleaning and grooming significantly reduces the concentration of fecal indicator bacteria in beach sands.
|
Fecal indicator bacteria (E. coli in freshwater, enterococci in marine water) are used as surrogates for pathogens; bacteria which cause infections in humans resulting in vomiting, diarrhea or other illnesses. Infections occur through swimming in, or ingesting, polluted water. Unfortunately, beaches frequently close due to fecal contamination. There are many reasons for fecal contaminations, i.e. overflowing or malfunctioning sanitary systems (which may discharge after heavy rain-falls), surface run-off, large number of birds of on the shores, etc. Due to public health concerns, government officials have implemented recreational water quality programs to assess water suitability and test implicated sources of pollution such as beach sands. When the measured fecal indicator counts exceeded published standards, swimming bans are enforced until water quality returns to safe levels.
In order to better understand the E. coli issue, Dr. Kinzelman and the City of Racine Health Department conducted a study of E. coli in beach sands which found that the highest concentrations of E. coli occurred when sands were moist or wetted. One of the most important points demonstrated by Dr. Kinzelman's study was that regular mechanical beach cleaning could greatly reduce the density of E. coli in the sand. This is likely due to the dispersive effects raking and tilling have on wet sand, e.g. turning it over and allowing for both ventilation and UV ray penetration which act to dry out and kill the bacteria. It is important to note that in order to achieve the maximum impact of reducing E. coli, the rear finisher should not be used.
For BeachTech, a good example of this program resides with the City of Hamilton, NJ, USA. In the years prior to purchasing their new BeachTech Marina, the city was frequently forced to close its beaches due to exceeding permissible concentrations of E coli. Now, with the BeachTech Marina working on the city’s regular cleaning schedule, the bacteria levels are down and their beaches remained open every single day throughout the entire 2007 swimming season!
The City is extremely satisfied with the results gained from BeachTech and most importantly, the tourists enjoy a carefree time on the beach! |

 | BeachTech 2000 Agile and handy
The BeachTech 2000, with its 1800mm working width, is the smallest of the three BeachTech tow-behind beach cleaners. The BT 2000, as with all BeachTech product lines, features our patented raking and screening cleaning system, which is referred to as the mixed-technique for beach cleaning. By raking and screening your surface area, you are guaranteed the most efficient and economic beach cleaning available, a cleaning that will even surpass your guests' expectations.
The BeachTech 2000 can clean an area of 20,000 square meters per hour in dry sand and 8,500 square meters per hour in wet sand. The cleaning technique can be adjusted from inside the tractor and without interrupting the cleaning process. With its handy dimensions, the BeachTech 2000 can easily pass through tight passageways and across smaller parts of the beach. The waste can be emptied from the hopper directly into a refuse collector or truck (height to empty hopper: 2.60 m).
The robust overall design stands up easily to the demands placed on it by the effects of salt water, humid air and other ocean conditions. The well-proven structural components are galvanized to protect them against corrosion and weatherproofed with two-component acrylic paint, and the hydraulic pipes are made of stainless steel, providing an extra layer of protection for the BeachTech 2000.
