Hayward Flow Control Systems, a division of Hayward Industries, has been manufacturing industrial thermoplastic valves and process control products since the inception of the thermoplastic valve industry. For more than 40 years we have remained committed to producing the highest quality products while providing outstanding service that exceeds customer expectations. Hayward has earned an unsurpassed reputation for product design, manufacturing precision, quality assurance, experience and know-how, and total commitment to customer satisfaction and support.
Hayward Industries was formed in 1923 by Irving M. Hayward. It was a small company, located in Brooklyn, NY, making specialty metal valves and industrial flow control products. When Mr. Hayward retired in 1964 the company was acquired by its present management. With that, a new period of growth and diversification began, one that continues to this day. Management realized an opportunity existed for plastic, rather than metal swimming pool filters and accessories, and diversified into the swimming pool market. Rapid growth in the pool business resulted in the creation of Hayward Pool Products, Inc. At the same time, through a combination of acquisitions, modernization of the manufacturing facilities and product innovations, the industrial plastic valve and pipeline strainer business grew as well - and became Hayward Flow Control Systems.
When selecting plastic valves and process control products, consider the following:
Reliable by Design Reliable by Design Hayward valves are designed using the latest state-of-the-art equipment. Our Computer Aided Design (CAD) system, linked to finite element software, provides accurate and essential stress analysis. Hayward valves are designed to be strong–with material where it counts. Pressure and prolonged operation will not fatigue Hayward valves. Thus, Hayward products provide years of maintenance-free service.
Dependability Valve parts twist and turn in operation, and must fit precisely with a perfect seal. At Hayward, valve components are precision molded. However, when required, critical dimension valve parts are precision machined in areas such as o-ring grooves, seats, and ball surfaces. In either case, fine tolerances are maintained and, as a result, Hayward valves seal bubble tight and provide years of dependable service.
Quality Hayward valves are 100% tested with the latest state-of-the-art testing equipment. Every Hayward product must pass pneumatic/hydrostatic tests before it is released for shipment. Our reputation for quality and reliability is unsurpassed. Hayward has been manufacturing thermoplastic valves since the beginning of the industry. Our commitment to, and support of, the industry is strong. In addition to a tradition of experience and know-how, Hayward also has a highly qualified field sales organization that provides customer assistance, training, and field support.
Commitment Hayward remains committed to new product developments and innovative process technology that produces high quality, reliable products and to total customer satisfaction. We will continue to advance fluid process technology as the leading American manufacturer of industrial plastic valves and process control products.

 | Hayward EAU Series electric actuators EAU Series
For use with Ball Valves up to 2"
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Corrosion Resistant: Hayward EAU Series electric actuators come standard with an all-polypropylene housing for superior corrosion resistance. These NEMA 4 plastic housings can stand up to harsh environmental and corrosive conditions.
Best for On/Off Applications: These low cost, high quality electric actuators are the best choice for ball valves up to 2" where a manual override is not required and control options are not needed.
Extra Features - No Extra Cost: Low cost doesn't mean stripped down. Hayward EAU Series electric actuators come standard with a mechanical brake for precise control of the actuation cycle. Also standard is one auxiliary limit switch which permits control of a remote electrical device. Plus, a thermal overload circuit protects the UL-listed motor from burnout and overheating. All models include a wiring terminal strip and come with a molded in mounting bracket.
Two Models Available: The EAU 29 actuator is designed for true union ball valves and has a 90-degree, unidirectional rotation. The EAU 28 works with 3-Way ball valves and has a 180-degree unidirectional rotation. Both models have a 115 VAC motor with a 25% duty cycle.
| | Manual Diaphragm Valves Manual Diaphragm Valves
1/2˝ - 6˝ PVC, 1/2˝ - 4˝ CPVC, 1/2˝ - 10˝ PPL, 1/2˝ - 8˝ PVDF
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Overview
Hayward all-plastic diaphragm valves are engineered to provide superior handling of difficult media such as corrosive fluids, abrasives and slurries. They can also be used for high purity and sanitary applications.
Manual or Automated
Available in manual or actuated (pneumatic or electric) models, the valves can be used for on/off and throttling service, feature a multi-turn design for precise control, and are self-draining on one side so that little to no dead volume remains in the valve. Standard material choices for the valve’s body include PVC, CPVC, PVDF and PPL. Each are available with EPDM, FPM or PTFE diaphragms, allowing service in a wide range of applications.
Superior Design, Superior Performance
The valve controls flow by varying the space between a stationary weir and a moveable flexible diaphragm. By compressing the diaphragm against the weir, all flow is shut off. The only wetted components are the lower half of the valve body and the diaphragm. The diaphragm’s stroke adjustment feature allows precise “tweaking” of diaphragm movement for very precise flow control. A large, sure-grip handwheel makes it easy to open or close the valve, and a beacon-type indicator provides highly visible position indication at the top of the valve’s rising stem.
Connection Options
Connection options include molded-in ANSI flanges and ASTM True Union socket end connectors.
| | Manual Valves Overview TB Series True Union Ball Valves | | R Series Magnetic Drive Pumps RC03, RX05, RX07, RX10, RX15, RX20, RX30, RX50
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Using the latest, patented pump technology, Hayward’s Series R all-plastic, corrosion resistant pumps will stand up to the most aggressive, demanding industrial and commercial applications year in and year out. From the heavy duty, thick wall, glass reinforced polypropylene or ETFE pump body construction, to the rugged epoxy painted motors, there is simply no better mag drive plastic pump available anywhere. And Hayward backs every one of its Webster mag drive pumps with an extended two year warranty.
With horsepower ratings from 1/3 to 5 HP, applications requiring flow rates from 5 to 140 GPM and with maximum total dynamic head discharges up to 141 feet, you will find a Webster Magnetic Drive Pump to meet your requirements. And because the process media never contacts metal, there is never a danger of pump failure due to rust or corrosion. Because they are magnetically driven, they have no seals, thus no emissions, leaks or expensive seal replacements.
| | Solenoid Valves True Union Solenoid Valves - NPD Design
1/4" to 1" - PVC, and Corzan® CPVC
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
No Pressure Differential Design: For maximum application flexibility these heavy duty solenoid valves have been designed so that no pressure differential is needed for them to operate reliably. Their unique design eliminates problems such as sticking and "chattering" due to system pressure differentials that can effect ordinary solenoid valves. And their performance is not affected by downstream restrictions caused by nozzles, flow meters or other equipment. This is a real benefit in these types of applications. The valve will operate with up to 40 PSI of backpressure and up to 120 PSI of inlet pressure. There are no minimum pressure requirements.
Normally Closed Operation: When electric power is applied to the solenoid, the electromagnetic coil is energized, opening the valve. When the coil is de-energized, the valve closes.
Innovative Coil Design: Unique in design, the valve coil rectifies AC current to DC current, resulting in lower coil operating temperatures than other plastic solenoid valves. This permits the coil to be rated for 100% continuous duty applications. Thus, the valve can be left in the open position indefinitely or it can be cycled continuously with no coil damage.
Unique Seal Cartridge: Hayward Solenoid Valves feature an easy to replace seal cartridge. No fumbling with small parts and o-rings to replace worn seals. Just install the one-piece cartridge containing the plunger assembly and all of the seals.
Corrosion Resistant Coil: The powerful coil assembly and electronics are completely encapsulated in a molded polyester housing, resistant to the harsh corrosive environments to which solenoid valves are often exposed.
| | Swing Check Valves Swing Check Valves
3" to 8" - PVC, Corzan® PVC and PPL
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Twice the Temperature/Pressure Rating of Other Plastic Swing Check Valves: Hayward Swing Check valves have up to twice the temperature/pressure rating of other plastic swing check valves, and can replace metal valves in many applications. Compare the temperature/pressure rating of Hayward Swing Check Valves to others and see the difference.
Unique Two-In-One Seat Design: Swing check valves are often used with slurries or other liquids that can damage the valve seat. A damaged seat in an ordinary swing check results in a useless, destroyed valve. But not with Hayward Swing Check Valves. They feature a unique two-in-one seat design that doubles the valve's service life. The valve body is constructed from two identical halves. If one seat is damaged, simply re-position the clapper so that it seats against the other body seat. Then reverse the valve in the pipeline. Now the valve is again ready for service.
