Planning, designing and engineering of lines and integrated factories for the production of wood-based panels like particleboard, MDF, OSB and CSL are the key competence of Siempelkamp's machinery and plant division.
Each production plant can base on reliable core elements, which have already set high quality standards:
- the press lines fitted with a ContiRoll®, the fastest press, continuously operating at a speed of up to 1750 mm/s and compacting products having a width of 4', 8' and 12'
- the forming lines with the accurately operating mat formers
- the pre-heater ContiTherm® for OSB and MDF.
Siempelkamp's product portfolio includes the continuously operating lines on the one hand, the capacities of which range between 500 m³ and more than 2000 m³ of board per day, and the discontinuously operating single- and multi-daylight presses on the other hand.
Integrated factories equipped with Siempelkamp machines are in operation all over the world. All core components come from a single source and include e.g. sifter, resination machines, dryers, forming and press line, the finishing lines with storage, cutting and handling technology as well as the complete automation and visualisation technology. The supplies - completed with planning, engineering, assembly and start-up services - result in turn-key plants which belong to the most efficient and dependable in the world.
Each plant comes with life-long service support, spare parts supply from Europe, America and Asia, and a 24-hour hotline to deal with any breakdowns. There is also a special department for plant conversion and modernization, which offers standardized modernization packages for increasing operation performance and dependability.
In addition, Siempelkamp offers plants for the lamination of particleboard- and MDF-surfaces with melamine-resinated papers. These cycle-presses produce furniture board or laminate flooring, enabling our customers to add value to production and productivity of their plant.

Its selection is a key factor in ensuring the capacity of the plant and quality of the products produced. In a Siempelkamp forming and press line each component is designed to interface with the next to ensure maximum production flexibility and efficient operation.
