SIMASV was born in the mid 1950s, as manufacturer of hide processing and treatment leather machinery.
The company was called SIMASV, acronym whose meaning is "Specializzata Industria Macchine Applicazioni SottoVuoto" (Company Specialising in Machines for Vacuum Applications).
With more knowledge and experience in many thriving industrial period of those years, the company is increasingly guided in the machining.
In 1962, the company launched the market's the first horizontal hydraulic press for bending and cold-forging various types of section bars.
These were pioneering machines in the cold deformation sector and, thanks to their incredible versatility, were the driving force behind the development of a line of equipment and applications involving a wide range of processing techniques.
Since then, Simasv has grown and broadened its range of products thanks to its ability to recognise the signs of change and to satisfy the constantly changing needs of an evolving market.
Today, the company offers a wide range of machinery in both the manual and numerical control versions.
The range opened from horizontal presses, were followed by notching machines for sheet-metal cutting, then by driving roll bending machines for bending sections, bars and tubes and finally by punching/nibbling machines with their innovative and patented front head opening design.
Simasv's activities have always been geared toward production differentiation in various fields of application. These include the mechanical sector as well as building, electrical technology, refrigeration, civil and industrial furnishings and systems, door and window frame fabrication and many others.

 | Bending machines > CE2 This series consists of one model only, the CE2 with two driving rolls with a knurled surface. The machine structure is manufactured in stabilised steel, and the shafts are constructed from thermally treated NiCr steel fitted with ball-bearings to protect mechanical parts from wear, thus ensuring their long lifespan. . The CE2 is fitted with a helical geared speed reducer, lubricated in oil-bath and is operated via the double pedal board to change the direction of rotation of the rolls. This bending machine allows the bending not only of section bars, bars and tubes of different dimensions and materials, but also the curling of metal straps and the twisting of square iron up to 8 mm in thickness. |
 | Bending presses This series consists of one model only, the T.22 Scanja press. Its special structure makes it ideal for press bending, bending, punching and cutting of all types of section bars, flat bars and tubes. The positioning of the cylinder under the workbench allows freedom of action for any type of operation on the workbench, and the controls set at the front of the machine give the operator a high degree of control over the working area during the operating phases. The workbench is manufactured in tempered and ground steel, the carriage runs on double guides with dust scraper and forced lubrication. The mobile pin moves at two speeds and the stroke is adjusted via a high precision electrical limit switch. |
 | Bevelling machines SP12V This machine has a solid monolithic structure, made of spheroid cast iron, able to withstand loads greater than all cutting stresses. It can be easily moved from one place to another, performing bevels on metal sheets with various weights and thickness. · There is also the possibility of placing the machine on wheels for large pieces to be bevelled, without handling them. · The machine can carry out maximum bevels of 12 mm. on metal sheet (Fe 40 kg/mm2) with a cutting speed of 3 mt./minute. · Clockwise and anticlockwise rotation of milling cutter controlled by remote control (24 V.) complete with immediate emergency system. · The machine can bevel several angles simply by tilting the sheet feeding roller at the required measure, from 22°30' to 55°. |
 | Notching machines The fixed angle notching machine AF.226/B has a compact structure, and a shearing head in GS500 fusion with downwards movement. The workbench is fitted with conical slots for housing of the squares. The conical form of the slots has been especially designed to give greater rigidity to the squares to guarantee greater precision. Subject of a Simasv patent, the most important characteristic is the automatic adjustment of the slack between the blades from 1 to 6 mm in thickness. The cut may start from the tip of the blades, and the auto-adjustment system between the upper and the lower blades allows simultaneous cutting of different thicknesses. |
