Since 1960 IBEDA has been developing equipment and armatures in field of gas safety engineering in Neustadt/Wied, Germany.
In 1983 the whole program of Müller Opladen (Klöckner-Werke AG) was integrated. In 1987 the special burner program SIRIUS was added.
IBEDA Sicherheitsgeräte und Gastechnik GmbH & Co. KG employs 75 people. Tasks are development, production and sale of safety devices to DIN EN 730-1, DIN EN 730-2 and couplings to DIN EN 561. The IBEDA product ranges goes from gas manifolds via tapping points, safety devices, testing equipment, welding- and cutting equipment up to special burners for the heating technique. IBEDA is certified to quality management system DIN EN 9001 by TÜV Rheinland/Berlin-Brandenburg and its products bear the sign „BAM Certified and under surveillance“ from BAM (Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und –prüfung).
