The high press-speed and the silent use are superior to conventional processes.
The tools are formed rectangularly, they are cheap and have a long life. They do not touch during the pressing, so that any friction and wear is avoided. Scale (heat treatment) or other pollutions can fall down in a container.
A one stroke processing without changing tools is possible from maximum to minimum diameter. |  | Roller pointing machines, Type DSM Roller pointing machines of the type DSM are used for the manufacture of drawing tags on wires, tubes, square, hexagonal, round and flat materials made from steel and non-ferrous metals. All machines can be supplied with or without a cutter. Machines of the type (+v) are fitted with an additional pair of vertical rollers, when a turning of the wire is not possible.
The robust construction allows high work loading. The belt-driven flywheel guarantees quiet running free from vibration.
The great hardness of the forming grooves ensures a long working life. Individual calibrations are possible.
Optionally each machine can be supplied with a straightening device. This can straighten the wire end from 1-2 meters to ease the pointing process.

They are used for cold and warm forging of ferrous and nonferrous metals. Rotary swaging ensures short operating times, small tolerances and fine surface finishes for the material. Asymetrical shapes can be produced as well as ronnds. Rotary swaging machines are available in three different designs: The shaft rotates, the head ring rotates or both rotate. The machines are manufactured with 2, 3 and 4 dies, which can easily be replaced within 2-3 min. The guidances of the hammers and dies is covered with an extremely wear resistant bronze coating.
