URACA is one of the leading manufacturers of high pressure plunger pumps and high pressure cleaning units in the world.
The company was founded in Bad Urach in 1893. Today the privately owned company employs approx. 300 people including 25 apprentices. The annual turnover of about 50 Mio Euro proves the international importance of the company with an export rate of 60%.
Company owned sales offices in Germany and more than fifty independent agencies world-wide deal with the market. URACA has a subsidiary in Paris and representation offices in Thailand and Dubai.
The quality management has been certified according to the world-wide valid quality standard
DIN EN ISO 9001:2000. Further certificates are made out according to KTA 1401, GOST and
AD-Merkblatt HP 0.
The company’s main activity is the design and production of high pressure plunger pumps and units for operating pressures up to 3,000 bar / 43,500 psi and motor ratings up to 2,600 kW / 3,500 HP as well as complete cleaning systems.
URACA products are used in various fields of industry, particularly in the chemical, petrochemical and heavy industry.

URACA Technology Center offers the advantage of prior cleaning tests defining the parameters of the work piece. Moreover customers can place a job order with URACA until delivery of the ordered machine.
