| | Dynamic Waterjet® Technology The revolutionary technology for waterjet cutting from Flow.
Since its introduction Dynamic Waterjet has rapidly become one of the most successful products in the industry and today sets the industrial standard for perfect work pieces without taper problems. Dynamic Waterjet is based on an intelligent solution in which the cutting head follows the contour pattern and thereby changes the angle of inclination in accordance with customer requirements.
Even with thick materials tolerances of +/- 0.04 mm are achieved under corresponding conditions. In a direct comparison with wire eroding the Flow technology convinces with up to 50 percent lower production costs, depending on part geometry and material. The cutting speed with Dynamic Waterjet can be higher by 8 to 10 percent. As the cutting of radii and contours with waterjet cutting technology is both simple and flexible, the faster Dynamic Waterjet system also has considerable advantages in comparison to the milling process.
A further advantage of this technology: stack cutting. Several layers of thin materials can be produced with constant tolerances. Dynamic Waterjet guarantees that every layer has the same dimensions.

High productivity with an integrated, compact design
The Integrated Flying Bridge is a waterjet cutting system that has been field proven through over a thousand installations worldwide. It incorporates a design that fills the industry's needs for a machine consuming minimal floor space, providing optimal operator access and easy loading and unloading. All machine components such as high-pressure pump and motion control as well as all electrical, hydraulic and high-pressure fittings have been integrated in the design in order to save valuable floor space. For material loading and unloading of cut parts the operator has access to all three sides of the work envelope.
The system is controlled by Flow's own FlowMaster® PC control system. The heart are complex calculation models which call upon nearly 30 years of experience with the abrasive waterjet cutting process supported by an extensive material database.
For every application the perfect configuration
For maximum productivity, it is possible to equip the IFB with optional features such as the new HyperPressure Technology or Dynamic Waterjet® technology. Further options like the patented UltraPierce vacuum assist system, height sensor or laser pointer make the Integrated Flying Bridge a perfect machine tool for any application.
And, as with all Flow waterjet cutting systems you can choose the pump solution that is suited best for your application: direct drive HyPlex pump or classic intensifier pump either with 4,150 bar or 6,000 bar operating pressure. But no matter which model you choose, you will receive a Flow pump that is reliable, efficient and easy to maintain.
| | WMC®2 — Waterjet Machining Center Cutting with up to 4,150 bar of pressure reduces operating costs
Modular design increases productivity
The modular design of the WMC integrates all mechanical and electronic components as well as the high-pressure pump, to ensure optimum ease of operation and access. The WMC is available in various sizes and configurations, and is therefore suitable for the most varied range of applications. The key to maximizing profits on a waterjet cutting system is to efficiently increase part production. Therefore the design of the WMC allows for unique configurations and customization to meet your individual needs.
Options to meet your needs
If your applications require high precision and productivity, the WMC can be equipped with the new Flow HyperPressure Technology and with either single or dual Dynamic Waterjet® cutting heads. For high-production it gives you the ability to operate multiple PASER® ECL Plus abrasive waterjet cutting heads (maximum four heads). Should you need to pierce brittle materials such as stone, glass or composites, the machine can be equipped with the patented UltraPierce vacuum assist system to ensure trouble free hole starting. Height sensor with/without anti-collision system, laser pointer and clamping system complete the range of choices.
Superior waterjet cutting performance
Rapid traverse speeds up to 35 m/min and contouring speeds up to 25 m/min give the WMC exceptionally swift cycle times and allow it to machine even soft materials efficiently with pure waterjet. Rotating nut drive assures that this machine will achieve traverse and contouring speeds with high acceleration. An advanced design, which separates the catcher tank from the X-Y frame, ensures that the WMC is consistently capable of producing parts with high accuracy.
