Reversible carbide tips are becoming ever more refined. Punches and die plates on powder presses are often reset. In order to reduce resetting times, a rapid-change tooling system must be used. The EROWA PM Tooling is the interface between punch, die plate and the press adapter. The system has been developed for use under high pressure. Both the die plates and the upper and lower punches are machined on the EROWA PM Tooling, from their manufacture to their use on the press. Owing to the positioning accuracy and stability of EROWA's PM Tooling, all the punches and die plates manufactured on the system can be changed in next to no time.

EROWA PM Tooling - universality from milling to pressing

Punches and die plates are manufactured on pallets, with exact centricity. The EROWA PM Tooling is compatible with all EROWA's "P" chucks. The EROWA PM Tooling enables your machines to be fully automated. Milling Electrodes to EDM the forms are machined on ITS system holders. The reference position is provided by the chuck.
