Silicone Engineering was established in Blackburn, Lancashire in 1959.
Silicone Engineering was purchased from the Meggitt Group of companies by the management team and is now operating as a privately owned limited company.
With the purchase came extensive knowledge of the silicone industry, and Silicone Engineering, freed from meggitt group ownership has developed and expanded its silicone products to a leading position in the European and world market place.
The company continues the strategy of providing customers with high quality, cost effective products in conjunction with the very highest standards of customer service.

|  | Silicone Sheeting Silicone Engineering is the largest manufacturer of silicone sheeting in Europe and has a major share of the USA markets.
If you are a user of silicone sheeting whether it be in solid or cellular (sponge) form, chances are we have manufactured it.
Solid sheeting can be manufactured in a range of thicknesses from 0.3mm to 15mm and widths of up to 1200mm or 1400mm (untrimmed).
Sponge sheeting can be manufactured in a range of thicknesses from 1.5mm to 12.5mm in rolls 1 metre wide or up to 50mm thick in sheets.
All sheeting is available in a variety of grades and colours including special grades such as Flame Retardants (FR), High Temperature (HT), High Tear and Fluorosilicone
