1937
The Scherzinger Pump factory was founded in Furtwangen, Germany to manufacture gear pumps, starting with just six employees.
1940's
Product manufacturing was extended to include immersion and coolant pumps with annual production reaching 10,000 pumps.
1950's
Scherzinger became the first German manufacturer to develop and produce Oil Burner Pumps for domestic household and industrial applications. Continued growth results in Scherzinger Pump Technology moving into larger facilities at our present Office and Plant location.
1960's
As part of expanding business opportunities, Scherzinger begins manufacturing Flow Dividers and Fuel Pumps for Gas Turbines.
1980's
Production reaches 100,000 pumps annually and new market opportunities are developed in the Chemical industry for transfer and dosing technology applications.
1990's
New Magnetically Coupled Sealless Pumps are developed to meet the growing challenges in handling aggressive fluids and new pump designs are introduced for the growing solar energy market. Scherzinger achieves VDA 6.1 Certification for the production of specialty pumps in the automotive industry.
2000 - 2005
Scherzinger Pump Technology introduces an Environmental Management System, gaining ISO 14001 certification and entry into the EMAS Register. Scherzinger Pump Technology opens a branch office in North America and enhances its sales presence in China and France. ATEX 94/9/EC certification is achieved for the Chemical, Dosing and Transfer & Lube Series Pumps.
2007
A new 700 square meter plant expansion is completed to accomodate expanding growth in global business opportunities.
