Clyde Materials Handling Ltd was founded in 1974 and began supplying pneumatic conveying equipment to the foundry, coal power and steel industries. Much of that early pioneering technology is still in use throughout the world but now in industries as diverse as steel, minerals, foods and pharmaceuticals.
During the 1980's and 90's, the company acquired a number of world-leading brands, some dating back to 1897, significantly increasing its knowledge and skill base, and helping to secure its position as one of the world's leading pneumatic conveying specialists. This process also extended the product base and industry spread.
Today, Clyde is recognised as a global materials handling solutions provider with offices and manufacturing facilities in the UK, USA, Brazil, China and South Africa. It offers levels of service from equipment supply through to total turn-key solutions inclusive of design, installation, commissioning and training and systems can be found operating in every part of the developed world.
